It took me a while to learn that also. You can only have 1 fast car. Wat to expensive to have 2 fast cars.

Don't listen to BANDIT, you can have more than one ride to take care of and have a handle on things just fine. Look at me, better yet, look at Ken, he's got a friggin' fleet of cars! I know selling it would put more coin in your pocket and free up some garage space, but think of the sentamental value it has. Just because it doesn't run, doesn't mean that it won't one day. Trust me, if you get rid of your red TA, you will look back on it one day and wish you hadn't.

Anyone have any advice on a good clutch for my Formula? Looking for something that will hold a good 450-475 RWHP, and won't be an "ON/OFF" switch to drive around on.

Im not trying too hard to sale them. If they go Im sure I will buy something everyone will like... The only reason I don't want to sale them is for sentamental reasons.

On another note about the clutch. Your asking for two things together, not normally available. You can get a stock clutch like the LS7 clutch that can hold the power and feels stock. Thats about it that I know of. Kurt Likes his Textrial but it comes with a heavy cost......You got the money go all out...

What is the LS7 clutch rated to power wise? I will be spending the bigger amount of money next year on the performance stuff, so I'd like to keep the cost somewhat to a minimum on the clutch if possible.

Jeff (Snapps) is using a ram if I remember right, it felt very streetable to me, he should be making decent power and it's held up.

Like anyone else, I am picky. I need something that will hold the power and last a while (it won't see any use from slicks, and probably very little if any drag radial time), as well as something that isn't more than $500, and finally (if possible) something that won't be a royal PITA to drive around town.

I like my SPEC stage 3 in my Z, and may get another, but want to see what other options may be.

He hasn't had it in that long...just changed it from an LS7 setup.

Spec stage 3 is a good choice...it's either that or the Textralia when I replace my junk OLD Spec 3..next year!

Check out a 3+ , its a full face disc with the same pedal pressure as a stage 3 but alot easier engagement and its rated for a ton more tq .

I must say I am really happy with my SPEC in my Z. I think I dropped $500 in it though, and I was hoping to find something cheeper. But it may end up that I get another SPEC anyways.

I have never driven a car with a spec clutch that I have liked yet. but of course that is just my opinion and to try to give someone advise on a clutch is kinda hard everyones opinion on streetable is different.

Ben I got your voicemail I'll give you a call later tonight if I can. Sorry been real busy last couple of days but I will get back to you.
