Thumbs up Hey Indianapolis guys/gals

If anyone is interested, the UMTR (united manual transmission racers) is bringing the show to Munci IN on the 26th and IRP on July 1st. To give you the low-down, this is a manual transmission only race. Bracket style, run what you brung. There are two classes, Power Stick and Street Stick. This past weekend the Street Stick class brought 33 cars and the winner (me) was paid $330 cash plus a $100 sponsor gift card. 2nd place paid $165 and a $50 sponsor gift card. They paid 3rd place their $30 entry back.

Because Muncie is a stretch from Cincy, I have to think attendance will be down because of the road trip so we need your support. Bring you battle wagons and raise some hell.

If anyone is interested, post up here and I'll let the powers that be know how many more cars could be expected. This is dominated in Cincy by the local Mustang club (www.stangbangerz.com). Of the 33 cars this time out there were only 4 fbodies, no vettes, 1 GTO and 1 CTSV, the majority of the class were mustangs. Bring your m-6 cars out and raise some hell with us.

Thanks Koolaid!

Blackboosted 2, I won the race on a 12.98 dial against a 14 sec Mustang. It's bracket racing so consistency not speed. The fastest cars in the Street Stick Class are mid-low 11's. One driver broke his race car and brought the wife's 4 door to compete. It's a great group of people in all the classes. Really great sportsman and women.

I don't mean to exclude the A4 guys, you can come check it out and it is a regular race day for Muncie. They should be running Bracket 2 and a Trophy class. It would be good to see some other GMs there running. Of the 3 races so far, 2 Camaro wins and one Mustang.

There should be a low-12 / high-11 CTS-V there with us. He was 7th in the points in '06. I'm not sure but I expect Heath will make the journey with his Holden converted GTO w/ the D1 pro-charger on it.

The power shift class has some sweet wheel standers. Here's a few pics from the 2nd series race...

Heads and cam Trans Am

Mustang.. 6th in points last year

Heath's Goat

A couple stangs..

A few power shift class cars...
yes, a Karmen Ghia

Old Ford 3 window

Couple fbodies...
My Turd..

low 12 cam only.. He's on here as BEStrokedNova I think..

couple others.

Me and a sweet 05 stang...

bouncin' camaro from the power shift class...

yes, I'm a pic *****... trying to get some indy or dayton guys motivated...

C'mon out!

I know Muncy's a hike from Indy. I'm coming up from just south of Cincinnati! Regardless, it's a good time bangin' gears an of course, you can win some cash. The purse depends on entry of course and seriously, there are no ringers in the Street Stick class.

I believe the new stangs were running low-14s high 13s. I don't exactly remember.

This Saturday. Hope to see guys make it.

2 days left guys and gals.

Entry is easy, all you have to do is show up, find the UMTR tent and sign up. Since the bulk of us will be coming from Cincy, just keep your eyes peeled for Ohio plates.

We'll have an army there for the IRP race in July. Our second race of the season was scheduled at IRP but cancelled for the snow/rain mix so everyone is looking forward to racing there again. It's our first race is Indy and we're hoping for a good showing.

There are no "pros" in our Street Stick class. It's really a good class to run in since everyone has a real even chance of winning.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Right now my car is running 12.8-13.2. She's a far cry from consistent so I count on luck. I actually won the last event. The purse was $330 + $100 sponsor gift card. Really lucky I'd say. Entry is $35 for the driver. Spectators entry is what ever the host track charges, usually $10-15.
