how many people in the chicagoland area pass emissions without cats. I know i have the cose delete, but how many people have a visualy inspection. my car is extreamly loud and i have a roll bar. i am worried about them looking. also does anyone have the borlamouth setup on their car with no cats that is the set up i am looking to get to make my car not as loud
thanks

I have a cammed true duals car with race bullets and I passed. They don't give a **** about your car man, as long as it passes the OBD2 plug-in. Have no fear.

I got H/C, headers with offroad y and a Corsa catback. Just rolled up, they hooked it up to the computer, and off I went. The guy infront of me in his 93 corolla didn't pass and he gave me a strange look as I left. Nothing like sittin in line cammin' then passin emissions, hehe.

I used to be an emissions inspector in So. IN back when they used to test. We had a couple of cars come in and pass the test all except for the visual inspection for the cats. It was kind of sad that the cars were in spec as far as the limits that the state allowed for carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon readings, but failed for not having the "required" equipment.

Good luck to you, cross your fingers that they won't look to hard.

They don't look at all in IL. There is zero visual inspection involved for the standard '96+ OBD scan test.
