Mightymike2000ss if your looking for a forged bottom end i'm pulling mine out in the next month going to the 408c.i. If your wanting to save a little it has 1500 or so miles on it. Good luck on your build to. I went through the same thing last year and going through it this year. Take the price your planning on spending and double it.
if you guys want to know what im doing ill explain it: i have a buddy who is hooking me up with the d1sc for shop price.
d1sc: little over $5400.
moser 9: from another buddy a little over $2500
racetronixs fuel pump: $220
all need gauges and what not: $400
epp cam: $360
Patriot lq9 heads: 1300 = 10180 damn you guys were right......wait a minute
sell my prc 5.3s. 500 buck
sell my ms3 150 bucks. = 9530
and then ill add and extra 450 for gaskets
i've already got my clutch,flywheel,injectors.
and know i didnt forget a tune i've got that covered already
yes guys, i do understand that it will all add up, but the car will be fine im just trying to keep everything on a budget you know yes it will add up fast i know...
the other night i didnt mean to come off like an ******* guys, i was watching gangland on history channel ......... JASON i could never yell at you. your the only one that laughs at my jokes when we go to the track

Dave has been our savior so far
Ready to live in my LT1 for some basic install stuff this spring, Dave? Of course for a bit of a labor price too
Keep in mind to save a bit of the money too, Mike. Anything can happen. Remember what your Finance/Management major tells you
And jeez you have built this car fast! I'm still working on full bolt-on's.. College, general savings, and unexpected repairs tends to drain a lot of your immediate income.

Here's my bench racing status: I'm still fighting vibration issues after my new clutch & flywheel install, i sent it to Larry @ Speed inc to have it balanced together and should be here soon. Once that craps all back together and fine i can start on the fun stuff like my new heads/cam etc. I hope Santa is gonna bring me either the FAST 2 sensor digital A/F ratio meter or my 92mm HSW N20 plate
