When is the first track outing guys? I am anxious to get back there. Dave and I installed my UD pulley the other night and also found out my throttle cable had slack in it. I noticed it before but thought nothing of it as I thought the TB blade was opening all the way regardless. Sure enough it was opening only 80% going off of what the scanner said. I could tell looking at the TB it wasn't going fully open and it was about an 1/8 of an inch from touching my imaginary bump stop. I say imaginary because the guy who initially tuned my car thought it would be a good idea to break the bumpstop completely off. Awesome, I know.
The throttle response is so much better (Jason you will have to check it out now, ha) and it seems to pull a little harder as well. Not expecting big gains from this at the track but maybe pick up another mph or two which should put my car close to where it should be. We shall see.

Wow Fifdy, that is horrible luck. Makes me want to double check my coverage with my car being a "secondary" driver.
Funny thing is that I still saw cars downtown tonight after a Barnstormers football game. Made me laugh that it is pouring down rain and people still manage to make it to the bridge? Sounds kind of stupid to me

Hey CamaroZ I'll be going to CFR on May 8th for the Midnight racing stuff, maybe see ya there? Last time i was there my heap was the only LS/Chevy there lol it was being dominated by Mustangs........ Hopefully this trip is a bit faster

Well guys I'm officially a father! Carter Andrew Long was born this morning at 5:45 and weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/2 inches. Everything went just fine and everyone is doing well.
I may be up for that trip to CFR on the 8th though! Let me know who all will be going from the Des Moines area.

Gear Install Does anybody know of a fair priced and good gear installer here in the central Iowa area?
Mightymike2000ss needs some 4.10's put in his 00 SS. He will have Motive 4.10's and a Ratech Deluxe Install kit.
We have been recommended Pat by the ws6store (awesome guy, same guy who did my gears), but he has not called back and we need this done within the next couple weeks.
Any help would be appreciated!
