Haha..Not unless my dad snuck it out of the shed for a joy ride. I've seen a red SS with a black manta around that area as well, seems to a popular combo!

I haven't driven my car for about 3-weeks now, been way to busy at school to go home and get it out. Finals are almost done up here at ISU and that's gonna be the first thing I do when I get back this weekend. Only one semester of school left for me, counting down the days!

I think red f-body cars period are popular in the area!!!! I went to Bennigans a couple weeks back and not only were there 4 red camaros there, 2 of them were limited edition ones like mine!!! The other one was Andy.

Hey Congrats on the kid! I've got my first one due at the end of October (thats why i'm trying to hurry up and get my car nasty before the $$ goes away lol)

99C5JA - My car ended up with 453hp / 393 torque N/A & the car ran out of fuel pump when trying to run a 100hp shot on the dyno so Jim had to lift since it was runnin' lean but at that point it was 505hp / 444 torque.
I put a LPE HF pump in and now I'm currrently fighting a problem with the N20 at high rpms breaking up but i'm getting it slowly figured out thats its an EMI noise or the LPE launch controller is funky when retard feature is being used w/ N20.

Either way i'll be rollin to CFR this Saturday for the Midnight race thing. I'm wanting to see what it'll run in the 1/4.

BTW, i love the 3.90's! Currently having traction problems at Eddyville but the track isn't good yet. 1.67 60's though spinning for 20' or so lol

Excellent numbers. I'm hoping that I put down something similar when I get the tune worked through. My cam is smaller, but the TFS's should help. I've always figured the 3.90s were the sweet spot. If I catch you at a meet, I'll have to beg a ride.

With that power, 3.90s, and 1.6x 60ft you're looking at low 11's N/A. Maybe better. I'd like to do 3.90s and coilovers in the next couple years. I wish gears weren't so pricey. The Nitto R2's I put on last year finally make 1st gear usable. Be interested to see what the car can do with a decent tune and traction. It should have an 11 in it with traction.

Yeah, it was sell it now or probably hold it for a few years, either way, it was going to be a wash $ wise, those things aren't moving very well in this market, so I let it go now.

No more F-Bodies for me, right now. I don't know what I want for a daily driver, so I'm going to be rolling the old 5.0 for a little while. I'm waiting for that Black Hole to come along!!! My pistons made it Monday, so hopefully that little piece of the big puzzle comes along quickly.

Hey 99C5JA, no problem on the ride we can do that for sure, just look me up - I'd say low 11's is pushing it N/A as I have a very very close setup to Unstang's camaro and so far I'm still chasing after his numbers in the 1/8 N/A & if i can get my car to match his #'s i know what it should run in the 1/4 and with the spray too.......in theroy of course lol - I know my weakness is my cars a 6 speed and his is an auto.

I was there during the day. weather sucked.Went down with a couple people from newton/ des moines area. Track was kinda slick due to the cold weather. I ended up leaving before the midnight deal started.

Yea I'm buying the black one back. lol. I ordered a kit from kytp 2 1/2 months ago and now just waiting for it to show up at my door. Mainly gonna be a stock ls1 with a tc78 kit running 10lbs of boost. I have a 6.0 thats at the shop waiting to go in when a ls1 blows. Running 7.60-7.70s before the turbo I'm hoping for mid 6s or so. I also switched to a 28" tire for more traction leaving the hole.
