I thought it was pretty neat. I like it better than the Challanger. They said z-28 last nite on the news but Karl was not aware of a Z-28 from chevy. I think they meant the SS. And Karl has 44 of em coming in and 28 are already sold. Most of em are the ss's. Not a bad looking car though. The v-6 doesn't sound that great.

It was nice to see some fellow tech guys out at Porky's last night. There was a pretty good amount of cars early on in the evening. Where were the rest of you guys? We need to get a Des Moines gathering at the Hooters or someplace sometime here soon

I'll try to make it one of these times, Im just so backed up on projects and my camaro's one of them Now instead of just repainting the front clip its turned into pulling the tranny out...

I Almost have my bike done. just need to paint the airduct covers now.

Then all I have to do is finish putting the motor in my s10, put a motor in a ford taurus I bought to make some money on...Then its the camaro..Hopefully Ill get to it sometime in the next couple months.

Oh yeah, I ahve some bad news for everyone wanting to show that yellow peice of **** what's up. He popped it!

Here were the specs though cause it wasn't a Roush s/c.

He had a Saleen supercharger with a spray bar on the internal ic with a 50 shot. He kept getting smaller and smaller pulley's and 2 rods finally decided they needed some more breathing room.

He was supposedly taking out a 10k loan to build another mod motor to handle the boost but he was having problems paying of his previous rounds of upgrades he bought with LOTS of plastic. Was talking big **** saying he was gonna be running 7.60's... I was looking forward to dragging his *** with my POS mullet-mobile when i hit the 6's on spray... but I was gonna run him for 500 cause there is no ******* way I was losing to him.

So long story short, he won't be out this year so make sure we all talk plenty of ****! I'll have to mention my "piece of ****" is still running, and faster then he ever did at that!

by the way , has anyone seen a 2002 body vette convertable black with 2 red stripes super charged ? id likd to find out exactly what he had under the hood , sounded like a twin screw anyway we blasted it from a 30 and we stayed neck and neck until he backed off , no animosity just curious what he had , i want to decide if after the stroke, heads and another cam , if im gonna blown another 200 shot through it again may not need it , just so everyone knows , mike out at ws6 got his twin turbo viper im sure somebodys in trouble when that hits the streets

FYI they added tonight at Eddyville for T&T at the last minute since they were fearing rain tomorrow so i went down with the drag bike and new engine etc....... 3rd and final pass it ran 5.353 @ 127.70mph.......spinning off the line lol - now that its broke in i can't wait to get a new slick on it and set the bars so it will go straight and turn up the shift light to get it more in the power band......... i'm shooting for 5.20's
On the car side of things, i ordered my TEA 5.3 heads, S16 cam and a bunch of other goodies from Speed inc and will soon be picking up the rest from Mike @ WS6store very soon - getting excited!!
