well fellas, wont be heading to des moines any time soon. HAHA. Shelled the motor tonight. it developed a knock last night and I was trying to pin point it today and couldnt, so took it for a test drive and midway through second gear on a WOT pass she let loose. She will be setting in the garage for quite some time before she see's daylight again. But im sure it will be bigger and better this time around

I tend to stick to the conversions section so I don't venture in here much, but I thought I'd give an FYI that there's another Iowa GTO in the classifieds. Some of you will be familiar with it from its time in the DSM-metro.

My brother and i are in south bend indiana, on the Power Tour! we are doing the long haul in my car. It has been an awesome time so far, besides waking up to rain and cold weather in a tent lol. but the 
makes us sleep good at night .
we have seen a couple iowa forum people, the black TT nova and the white s10 with the lsx motor and a M6 in it. we will keep you updated

Hey Rodney, that is what my oil plug looked like last week on a 1500 mile oil change, I will be pulling mine out this weekend, too (got your fb message)! Transmission is going to D&D and the rearend is going to come out and possibly a 3:55 gear ring installed.

Ill be having a set of 243 heads cnc ported and milled to 58cc up for sale with patriot dual valve springs, ti. retainers. Also will have my painted LS6 intake up for sale, ported TB, 226/230 .609/.588 patrick g cam, stock rockers. Let me know if anyone is interested in any of it.

so something broke in the tranny in the camaro last night 
was up at kum and go and went to back out clutched it, and it wouldnt even budge out of reverse. i shut the car off and re-clutched it and still nothing, it was like trying to pull a 500lb boat anchor. finally got it out of gear but it felt really sticky (wouldnt re-center itself) now i have no F*ing reverse! 1-6th are still fine so im wondering WTF is up. looks like ill be giving tick performance a call about a rebuild
