Did you buy the g8 from Karl's?
I am new in town and looking for some car guys to shoot the **** and hang out. I am staying in ankeny in a hotel looking for a place to live right now. I am the asst. Manager at sherwin automotive paint so if anyone needs paint or body supplies let me know.

Made a purchase last night, 2009 G8 GT with 28,000 miles. Didn't have any plans to buy a new car for a while, but just found it and fell in love it. The 6.0 and 6-Speed auto work great together and it's a blast to drive.

Paint on the car is HOK Tangelo with LE rear bumper in flat black. I'm gonna be doing alot of painting this coming summer so I might have to hit you up some some body supplies. Might have to meet up with you at your work and have you show me some supplies.

Yea they got the shop a little while back. I used to buy alot of items from them about 3 years ago while I was working on my trans am. They were talking about getting a shop back then but couldn't find a good location for there needs. I have not yet made it that way to check it out but I HOPE soon they have some kind of open house/dyno day.

Josh is working on setting up a open house as we speak, i think its looking like May, but we will keep you posted...
And Yep, for those of you who dont know, we opened the new shop about a year ago in Norwalk. We install everything we sell, have an in house DynoJet 248X, do nitrous refills, and have a ton of parts in stock
Feel free to stop on by! We are open from 9am-5pm, (taking lunch between 12pm-1pm) Our new location is:

Its more than likely going to be May 14th or the 21st. Not quite sure what the day will be filled with, but will probably be 10am-3pm, there will be cars on display, specials and prizes, burgers and dogs on the grill. We will encourage everyone to bring their rides, and we hope to fill the parking lot, grass area, and street!
Some other possibilites are:
-A couple dyno runs to exhibit dyno operation (prolly not a dyno day though)
-Radio station on site (depends on cost)
-Possible burnout contest (pending our landlord and the city's approval)
Any other suggestions are welcome and will be considered. We are still in the planning stages, but one of those dates above is what we are looking at.
