I doubt there would be much out there on Saturdays now,since old man winter is knocking.
I'm heading to the LSx Shootout tomorrow...need some motivation to turn some wrenches & spend some cash.

Wish I was going with you guys, its going to be raining all weekend long in NYC! Then of course beautiful weather the day we are leaving to come back

I currently dont have the LE2 setup on, I have the hotcam kit in it now with stock heads. Its ran 7.90s in really humid weather and a slick track. It had rained that day and they dried the track for midnight madness and eddyville. only been on the 1/8th.

Hey, just checkin' in from Eastern Iowa!
Come on, have some faith. It is supposed to be back in the 60s next week plus there is no salt on the roads. Plenty of opprotunity to get the car out still!

Anyone close to Iowa Falls? Im putting a set of Patriot heads on my gto and just want someone to come double check my PTV and pushrod length make sure I'm doing it right came out like .05-6ish on intake and like .08 on exhaust :S

I bet I have mine laying around somewhere Dave. It was a battle with mine though too. Took it apart twice thinking **** wasn't aligned right. Of course I was by myself using a motorcycle jack! It was like a two day nightmare trying to get it to go in. I think I started crying at one point...............

i feel ya 346. all i wanted to do was get the bitch on the road so i could break the motor in and sure enough had something holding me back. but i went to advanced and bought one for 2 bucks. got the tranny in. all the suspension is on and tq'd. going to take it out today and let her rip. not going to ***** foot the motor on this one. rings are getting broke in the right way.
