Awesome job with the vids. I wonder what's in the Miata. I think next year I will have to watch the burnouts for a bit. It's got to be better than waiting in line for a half an hour not seeing anything but the car in front of ya. Did that bad *** black GTO with the supercharger put on a good show?? Thing sounded mean as hell idling.

Actually, that Miata has a 408 in it (I believe, I know it's over 400ci.) I believe he's from shellrock, which is about a 4 minute drive from where I'm sitting. 
He had the pit next to us at Rich Christensen's Armdrop Live in september at Cedar Falls Raceway. That miata ran a 10.80 or a 10.70 in the 1/4...
By the way, Im in Waverly, about 20 minutes north of Waterloo/Cedar Falls

Yup...did you get called for the allout 32? My buddy ran his '00 Camaro SS with a vortech supercharger and got picked (cuz it's way slower than it should be!)...he got beat by a fender in the 2nd round by that blue 2nd gen Camaro without a hood...(The car that ended up winning the entire thing! 
) If he only got a better launch I'd prolly have some cash in my pocket!!!

Did he have the car at CFR early this summer on a Friday night? There was a black SS there that had a Vortech on it. Car was running stock LS1 times. I can't say much though, my cam'd LS1 runs bolt on times, ha. Anyway, figured it was the same car.

Has a vortech supercharger, long tube headers, cutouts, gmmg chambered exhaust, 3 point sfc's, and it's tuned...we can't figure it out. it's been supercharged since 2001, so im thinking it may be time for a fuel pump...possibly something in the fuel system...not sure but it should be in the 11's i would think...
nobody happens to know anything about this car do they?

I just remembered seeing it up there during a few of the McGrath Cruise Ins and I think it was still there when they had the 2010 unveiling. Super clean car with way low miles. Was wishing I had the coin for it earlier this summer when I found out it had a Vortech on it. lol
I remember seeing a Black SS at Armdrop Live but I guess I didn't realize it was the same car. Hopefully he can get it sorted out over the winter and lay down some good times.
Any idea who tuned it?

Newton is having a big car show and drag race this sunday, take it there and have fun! I am going to be in New York City this weekend and Jason is going to Memphis so it looks like I am officially done this year for car stuff
