i agree bout the 1/4 mile track closer, I've thought about keeping on the gas another 1/8th at eddyville but the jump at the would be a bitch, then your shut down would be corn field...... just like at conesville!
lol Orange, I'm not changing anything on my junk this year so go easy on me Oh we picked up a 2nd complete LQ4 6.0L this week...... What to do, what to do BTW, when you coming down? I'm off all next week!

Since my suspension stuff wasn't ready for the track last year & it still doesn't have a cage, I save my self the embarrassment of even trying.
That being said, I don't plan on taking the year off from racing. I miss the good ole days of driving to the track, smoking trailer queens and driving home.

No one ever does anything?
Mine only has a CD player now, dropped the A/C, haha. Sounds like ours are similarly optioned though. Mine is a roller right now. Sold the T56, the LS1 had a snapped rod and am selling off that stuff. Hopefully picking up a LQ4 this weekend to start my turbo build. Then need to find a 4L80E. Anyone know if there is a difference between the exhaust manifolds on a full size van LQ4 and a truck LQ4?
I am anxious for the summer for sure. We need to get more people together and have more gatherings. Theres quite a few cars around but it seems no one ever does anything!

LOL i have an excuse for not being at the track seems how i live in GA now, but when i return home to pick up the car I'll probably end up taking a month off so i plan on tracking it...
If Jasons up for it I'd be down to line up, I'm not even sure what to expect from this car im just shooting for some where around 9.7X to 9.9X... Either way im sure ill learn a few things from you guys never really tracked a stalled auto before, thank god for a trans brake

My 6.0L came from a guy that thought it was 5.3L in Ottumwa w/ 45k miles & the 2nd my dad found on Cragislist last week in Des Moines, it came out of a running 01 2500 2wd truck w/ 87k on it, it was the dirtiest engine/trans we've ever seen, & it ran like poo but that will change soon i have a feeling
X2 Unstang on driving them to the track beating most stuff down there and then drive home with the a/c on & tunes blarrin!
I can't wait till we can all get together and beat on our stuff again..........

Mine was complete with wiring, ecm, engine 6.0L, accessaries, 4l80e, yoke, and I drove the truck before they removed it, & they delivered it, but it was a lot more than $950!
