My car went to Chicago area. I am going to miss it but it just wasn't practical for me so I just bought a car to daily drive. I have some money left over to mod it a little bit. I don't have it yet I pick it up this weekend.
No I did not get a Saleen, I don't have that kind of money. I just bought a 05 GT 5spd, silver with black leather, original owner, 17,000 miles. It was a really good deal and I couldn't pass it up! Nothing special but it will look good when I get done with it. It's been 14 years since the last time I owned a Mustang!

question....
what should I do to my car next? I just put on a functional ram air hood (after the deer accident.... I kinda came out ahead hah)
So I'm thinking about making the ram air all functional... or maybe throwing on some headers. And, whats the difference between short and long tube? anything?

Shorty headers are slightly more useful than the "electric superchargers" or the Tornado air filter. But that's like saying a politician is slightly more useful than a small rock. Buy the long tubes. No reason to go any other way.
Congrats on the new ride Scott. I love the looks of those new GT's. Post some pics when you get a chance.

On another note guys i realized im an idiot...Ever since i built my engine Ive had a ton of Roller Rocker noise. I readjusted them a ton of times and never could get it to quiet down. The other day i couldnt take it anymore and tore it apart since it sounded like i had a bunch of lifters stuck.
With the help of a friend we found out the my pushrods were to long, it was actually sometimes pushing my rocker arm off the top of the valve (not giving me full lift) I used pushrod length detectors and ordered my new pushrods...they ended up being 6.950" instead of the stock 7.200" I guess i didnt realize i had that much takin off the block and heads. But im and idiot for not checking that when i assembled it. That dumb mistake was probably pretty rough on valve guides...

On another note, went to the new house tonight, it is getting closer to being done. The deck isn't built yet, so no sod, the garage doors aren't painted, but that is all that is left for the exterior. The interior is 99% ready & then just touch up stuff is left. Less than 3 weeks to go!

If you make it Andy give me a call or anyone else. 712-348-0149. I should be around most of the day, I have a lab assignment due tomorrow so that might hinder a few things, but I should be there on and off all day.
Rodney, take a break from the house man, some nice cars rolling through and this doesnt come around very often. Should be on the top of the priority list
