I think the battery has to be completley dead for that to happen.... as it FLAT DEAD!!!

Chances of that happening are slim to none.

Remember that if the battery just died on you you would be locked in the car in the vettes.... GM would have a law suit on their hands if their was a fire on top of that or something so I bet it would have to be completley flat but even then I bet there is a capacitor or something that is used as a back up.....

There are failsafe mechanism's in this setup to get in the car no matter what happens. Also, this car straight from GM kills the battery connection if it monitors the battery getting to low. You can't leave any lights on inside or out(car shuts them off after a few min), and I plan on buying a brand new battery this week for the car since I don't know the age of the one in it. Should work fine for me since it's daily driven; if something starts getting bad or alternator is dying...I will know.

Besides, only C5 Corvettes get dead batteries from sitting in the garage too much not from not being driven...ask me how I know lol

Not true. There is a release on both sides just infront of the seats.
I know this because we "locked" my father in law in an 09 vette at car show. he thought he was going to have to crawl out the window .
They had the battery disconnected for the show so it wouldn't go dead while people were getting in and out of it.

LOL, Shut-up David! No-Body is supposed to know about that!

And I live in the city but My driveway just needs some more gravel. I have to drive around my house to get to the garage behind the house. And so the gravel that was there 2 years ago, Has pretty much deteriorated and sunk into the dirt. So thats what sucks about my house the most! LOL!
It gets really bad during the winter when it snows and the spring when it rains continuously!

Just FYI I live in the HOOD!
