And as for WOT shifting into OD... My car broke on me- the 3rd time I did it. It grenaded the 3-4 input drum. Not saying thats why, But I hardly ever did that and it didn't break until the 1 night I had a few good runs and I went WOT til 4th gear.

But as for 119 mph, you should definentely get more mph than that out of 3rd gear. Could be something in the tune as well. Since the transmission shifts by rpm vs speed. just my .02

yea i normally dont let it shift into 4th at wot but something just didn't feel right when running the car. so i guess 3rd was slipping or the converter was screwing up. oh well rpm level 5 is in the future

Hell yeah man. I have heard nothing but good come from RPM. Hope everything works out for you man. I'm sure it will. Although if mine breaks again, it's getting a turbo 400. Tired of BS-ing with it really.

To be completely honest, I'm getting really bored with the car thing and have thought of even selling it a few times. But then I re-think it like, "man I'd rather just keep it and have a lil fun every now and then as opposed to take a loss on it". So IDK.

Anyways, See ya guys next summer on the battle-field. haha

James.. how the hell can you be bored with "the car thing"?? I have been into cars since I was a teenager, and I'm 38, I am still not bored with it. Maybe it's because I'm faster..?? lol!!

I have a stage 6 built by RPM Transmissions, although I have yet to beat on it, I'm confident it will work flawlessly for me.

IDK, I guess it's just all the cold weather and not being able to drive it. Or maybe not having enough cash to do what I REALLY want to do to it. ???

I'm prolly gonna keep it. 90% sure, but just been thinking of what else I could do with the cash IF I sold it. I could finally get a house and also invest a little. BUT then I'd be all tied up with work, side jobs, and etc. all the time and I'd never have any FUN! And thats just ghey. lol

welp its official winter is here, i dont put my car up. But i throw 2 85 pound bags of rock salt in the hatch for traction, dont really feel like getting caught one night in a freak snow storm while im at work. Haha oh well CANT WAIT FOR SPRING GEEZE!

I am in the same boat with my cobra. My traction control light is probably going to get worn out. Waiting for the first real snow to see how the new snow tires at each corner works out. So far they are hooking great, because they actually squeeled in the wet the other day.

hey anyone know if chad always did speed density tunes? a buddy and i were gonna both pull the maf to clean up the engine bay cuz im pretty sure he did, just cant get a hold of him anymore...

another reason is i got a chance to get a 85mm throttle body real cheap off a buddys totaled gto, and if i did id want to get the FTP lid and lose the maf...

I have personally given up on Chad simply because he is too difficult to get a hold of. If you can wait another month or so, Mike Norris (Norris Motorsports) is moving his shop up to Fishers from Florida. He should be open for business after the first of the year. Mike will be tuning my car this Spring.

you misunderstand, my car was already tuned by chad, and he did a fantastic job. im just curious if he did a speed density? the car still runs great with the maf and iat unplugged so im assuming it is on a speed density tune. if it is im throwing the FTP lid a long smooth bellow and a new 85mm tb on there with no maf, since i came upon the deal. it wont throw my tune off enough for me to mess with retuning it but when i get a stall then ya ill be going to Norris if chad isnt back in the game.

TheBiz-I dont know anybody right now, but Ill keep an eye out and be sure to send them your way if I found somebody in the market for an fbody.

Thanks, Mike. Hope the move goes well. Right now Im just trying to identify whether its on speed density or not. Pretty sure it is since ir runs just as well whether the mar is plugged up or unplugged.
