I hear you, one of my buddys had one of the first 03s around here and it ran 12.2s on the stock setup +cai at irp on tuesdays unprepped track. But I've seen plenty run 13s & 14s... LOL It's all about driving them hard & knowing how to do it right.

Think that is bad I had a guy call me and ask WTF is my deal why I didn't respond to his text that he sent. I said uh my phone is so old it doesn't have texting service. But it looks cool and everyone thinks it is a satillite phone.

I took my 03 to the track for the first time a week after I had it and was very disappointed with a 13.0 on street tires at only 108mph. I noticed the car seemed to run great cooler so I tried the ice technique. 2 weeks later I took it again and my first pass on slicks was a 12.4 with a 1.75 60ft I think, second pass was a 12.29, and the third was a 12.20@113.5. I am by no means an expert racer but I can ******* drive and shift better than most. I hope somewhere on here there is someone that will back me on this and really knows.

BTW.....it will not be proshifted cause I want to drive it a bunch. I had a proshifted TKO2 in my old fox and it was not to bad to downshift......just don't use the clutch and rev it and it will fall in.

HAHA...missed the nitrous comment. I should be allowed to run a shot 50hp less than what he is running to make it honestly right. Everyone always forgets these cars are 281 cubic inch motors and are down 65 cubic inches and weigh over 200lbs more. That seems to never be taken into consideration when the camparison is done. The mild 8 psi from a blower that is plagued by heat issues and IAt's that these cars have from the factory make up for that 65 cubic inch dfference if you ask me. Ok so I have 12psi now but he gets a monster cam that takes full advantage of the enormous heads the LS1's have along with a big shot of nitrous. Put it into perspective and I am at the disadvantage if you ask me
ahahahahahaahahahahaha guys im sorry but this cat knows his stuff when it comes to mustangs. or any other car for that matter. hate to say it bc im Camaro at heart but i am thinking keiffers got this one under control..

hey all, im on ls1tech often and never drop in here, just thought id say hey, and look forward to meeting up this spring summer and fall. I usually hang out with the trans ams and other gtos when im down town and on 31. got some things in the works this year. probably doing one of those confangled *** mounted turbos, just to hold me over while im fabbing the front mount. should still be fun though, later.

It makes 7whp and 9lbs of torque at 1256 RPM. It only weights 26lbs too! I'll race him, hell I'll race anyone!

curious what does that LT1 car weigh? Does it have cam and heads?

It's a 94 Z that is FULLY Gutted and fully built. He has a 383 LT1 with N2O. It runs good for what he has done to it. I call it - the Little LT1 that could! hahaha It still rocks the stock heads with a SLIGHT port job. But last time I heard, He's looking into finishing up all of the last known things holding him back. He's a great guy who is very knowledgable and knows how to make a car work. I have seen the car run and I'm friends with the guy personally. I'm sure you'll see it. He is around town all summer long. The car should weigh between 29xx and 30xx lbs. this year. Anyways, I think you and him will be a VERY CLOSE race, and IMO it'd be 1 to watch. He's faster than benny (LOL) so I would rather see you 2 race. Sorry Benny

Anyways, I'm looking forward to all of the $hit talking and head busting to come this race season....

So what does one your stock stroke LS1 do on the dyno with nitrous. 550 or 600?

Who's car were you refering to?
A stock stroke LS1 with a decent H/C/I/Bolt-On/N2O setup have been known to get between 450-600 rwhp and 450-700 ft. lbs. tq.
Depends on the combo of course. I think Purdueranger put down some crazy #'s in his Red Z. I wanna say 666 rwtq. or something? IDK for sure but maybe he'll chime in.
