Are you going to dyno yours?

 

if i had a drive shaft i would.....

Well we dynoed the Camaro.. The dyno in question was a Dynamics, which from what I hear reads lower than even a Mustang dyno.

Anyway much to our surprise David's (dheck) C5 laid down a best of 296 RWHP on a 105k mile engine!!!


My N/A run on 20* of timing was 370 RWHP but my nitrous run was 532 RWHP with a fuel line leaking.




I think with a little more timing, and no fuel leak it might put down 540-545 on that dyno. The guys at the shop said that it reads about 15% less than a Dynojet, but Dave thinks 8-10% might be closer, and I agree.

Although the last post was filled with the utmost Gheyness, I feel that yesterday was a good time, and it has left me wishing my car was done, like.....oh..... a year ago.

 

Yesterday was fun, its a bummer I had to leave early, and that my car wasn't done to be there

It was a good time. Benny you can see in your graph where the fuel cut out. And I was very surprised to see my car put down anything close to 300 rwhp. I was going to drop a new engine in but I think I may just stick with the 105K mile one and see how it likes it.

 

was this the same setup that you ran at 41 a couple months ago? i would expect that shot to do more given your motor numbers..but good numbers, nonetheless.

it looks like i need to find that c5 and put a hurtin on him with the ole ta haha.

That is the exact same set up.

 

i figured as much. and at this point the only thing that ta drags is the f'king exhaust over every pebble and bump in the road.

 

That's ok, Does it have a front sway bar, horns, turn signals, working headlight and so much more? If so it's doing better than mine.

 

where was that dyno event damn wish i was there to put up a high 2xx pull lol

 

I can't remember a time I was out and did NOT see that truck.
