you now have god's motor, a driver is more important than mods when being so close to stock.

I contribute that to 9 year old tires, 42lbs of air pressure, and my first time ever down the track. After those MAC's and maybe some better tires, NOT DR's that bitch is hitting a 12.99

Good Luck with 12.99! It obviously can be done.... I think my car does a whole lot better when I burnout in front of the burnout box... When I burned the tires off in the water, They spun coming out of the hole. And they hooked pretty well when I burned them in the dry area!
Maybe you can try that and it might help you too. Every car is different.
And hell I was running 35 PSI in my Nittos DR's and they still did ok! Next time I'll drop em down to 20 PSI and see what happens with the 3.42's I just put in! Hoping 12.7 or 12.6.....

weak excuses. that was my 2nd pass down the track in that car. on street tires with 35psi in them. they even have cords showing on the back haha. hopefully that will be changing soon. i'd really like to get the other manifolds, springs, and tires on within the next month. i have to replace the rear brakes on the gimpala this weekend. mfin pads are grinding into the rotors. 147k on the stock back brakes, not bad i guess considering all of the high speed braking. i know i've down my fair share.

roll racing requires no skill, especially in an auto car

no. i am going to sell your springs (hopefully for what i paid haha) and get some of dem summit racing lowering springs. i got a set of stock manifolds to replace the jank ones on there now. surprisingly it does not leak yet. i'd like to remove air/egr too and then get that piece tuned.

hah did i mess them up he asks. yes, i did. when attempting to remove the cats from them i managed to break 5 of the 6 studs. so i took a grinder and ground them down, drilled them out, and put bolts through. not a lot of room to work under there, and as a result one of the bolts on the driver's side didn't get drilled out. so it only has 2 holding the exhaust to the manifold on that side haha. and nathan, the new(er) manifolds also have studs, no bolts.

I don't agree with that at all!
Your telling me that a roll race is a roll race...? AND NO factors weigh in at all?
What if the guy has a 6 speed and at 30 mph has it in 4th gear?
It takes NO skill?
I think that guy would get smoked.... racing from 30mph in 4th gear!
OR -What if the guy is in an Auto and at certain speeds the car won't kick down to the passing gear b/c it's at the top of the lower gear... I will put it in the lower gear to get the most out of it! instead of kicking it down and having to wait to build my rpm back up!
So "YES" roll racing does take skill!
