Chad is from Kokomo, and a friend of mine. He is very good at tuning as well!

Chrome355Z, I'm originally from Shelbyville, I work there for the newspaper, and my brother is a cop there. Do I know you?

Fairland here... Not to far from Shelbytucky We actually made a trip out to shelbyville one Sat. this last summer. About 10 f-bodys i would say. Got some crazy looks going around the circle. The F-250 4x4 guys with dual stacks coming out the bed were the only other group we saw out.

No ****, cool. I don't think so unless you run around much here in shelbyville and hell I haven't even done that much for the last 6mo; got bored with it.

The old mans boy at Millers (can't remember his name) asked if I knew a Benny one time I was over there in the Camaro ordering a Uhaul. I'm guessing that was you...

I know a few police officers but don't know about your bro, I live a few houses down from Shawn K.

I went one time. Lost $100 and havent been back... But i do enjoy the horse track from time to time. Once it is complete i will go back for sure. Hard not to since its only 5 miles away.

Looks like you have a nice setup going on your car. You will have to come hang out with us one time in Greenwood. Weather permitting there will be anyware from 5-15 f-bodys/gto's hanging out/crusing on sat nights. So in about 4 months it might be warm enough to start going out....

Anyways, When are you getting the Iroc back on the road man?

Also, who knows anything about Chad at greenlight??? I was told to check into having him tune the car for me, but I dunno much about any tuners locally other than DHeck! Which BTW doesn't know how to call people back!

Also thinking about having Pro Dyno Tech look at it! -Ron is a good tuner from what everyone tells me!
Ron is excellent, has a dyno, and is willing to do it on the weekend. I just got my car back from him. Had a clutch put in, fuel system upgrade and cut over to E85. I've had tunes from both and prefer PDT.

Thanks for the heads up. I've heard good as well. I just want a good tune, and would really rather it be on a dyno so I can see what numbers it lays down and I'd also like to have it tuned while it's being dyno'd so that everything is safe such as air fuel ratios and spark and etc... I'd hate to be running too lean or too much ignition and hurt something.
Thanks Again!
I'll make some calls here soon and see whats up with PDT and a few other places.

tuning on the street gets the best loading of the engine. Now doing some cleanup on a loaded dyno is good for some full throttle stuff but you can't get real road load simulation on a dyno. Trust me I do road load simulations for a living on a dyno.

Sounds good. I ended up living in Fairland because of a girl. Maybe you will too

And Fairland is only about 15 minutes away from where we went and hung out in Greenwood and had the cruise in at Edwards. It's close to nothing but 15-20 min from lots of things...

He's right. Its is actually more helpful to do a tune on the street. You can't get the same effect from a dyno. It may put a load down, but its a simulation...which means its not the real thing. It is nice to have dyno time when the majority of the tuning is done so you can make some WOT passes to check A/F and other components.

My recommendation, find someone who will tune it on the street in real life driving conditions. After the bulk of the tuning is done, take it to a dyno and do some WOT passes that way you don't have to worry about the police, other drivers, etc. You will get some numbers right then and there as well.

I shot you another PM.
