LT1 Holley Air Foil on Indy Craigslist for $25.

 

The last time I had an Air-Foil, I sold it a day later. It got in the way when I cleaned the TB and made ita PITA to get the rubber intake boot back on, and it wouldn't fit with the Trick-Flow elbow either. So I vote "POS worthless mod that doesn't do $hit for performance" for the Air-Foil.

 

No to mention that aftermarket TB's come with pretty much the same thing cast in...

 

Its the screw in kind, not the the pop in kind.

any one know what the 10 spoke ss wheels weigh not the chrome ones?

 

I shipped four and each box of 2 was 55lbs

 

So I'd say 27.5 lbs each. But take away a few pounds (1-2 lbs.) for the box. lol

this is why i don't even try to drive the black car in the winter months. park it in the garage and start it up every other month. not to mention it's lowered 2"+, so i doubt the tires would even touch the roadway, even after spinning, it would be in a constant state of high centered haha.

i almost feel bad for the guys that have use their fbodies as daily drivers.

 

Another 60 days and we will be hopefully done with cold/nasty weather like this...

My Z06 chrome aftermarket wheels weigh 26 pounds a piece. Dam I could get .15 or better in 1/4 with lighter wheels! Hummmmm!

A little bidry tells me Ill have a LS truck motor with a few goodies (LS intake among other things) waiting for me in the garage when I get home

 

1. I would park the beast if i owned my own home with a garage. 2. i dont feel bad for ppl that drive there fbodys as dd's. I paid a pretty penny for my t/a and i kinda like driving a nice car are all year long if you take care of it then salt and **** doesnt do that much damage. BUT, if i owned a vette my *** wouldn deff not drive it in snow or rain. Iono im weird if i had the money for a new vette id have money for a shitty dd also so haha

 

ya i agree i would never drive my car in the winter, its sits with theft/vandalim insurance in the garage and gets started once a month. winter is what i have a POS taurus for

 

I stoped daily driving F-bodies a long time ago, got tires of trying to keep them clean and all the scratches and door dink I would find. I could care less what happens to the beaters hahaha.

The 96 got like 1,000 or less miles a year and the 83 was driven like 100 miles or so the summer that it was out.

Loved every minute of both cars...

Getting into a caged car being 6'2 kinda sucks though and gets a little old.
