Put the motors up for sale, keeping the 317 heads and other things I need, going aluminum block to save teh 75 pounds.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/midwest-c...6-0-stuff.html

My brother in law has a 1978 Yamaha XS 750 bike (3 sylinder 750) wants 250 for it and comes with the manual. Does not run but will crank, I am hearing the ignition module tends to do bad in them, they are cheap along with the other parts. I may get it to get it runing, change the fluids and batter and sell it for a grand. The sell for 1-1,200 bucks.

Gets like 40-50 mpg haha.

Figure if I am lucky I could make $600 off of it...

Hey David, I just picked up another (Roller) 83 Z today...
Since you sold yours to that other guy, I had to go get another 1. haha

I paid a little more for this 1 but it's complete... Oh and I bought a Chevy Lumina as well. Has a blown Engine and other than that it's in great shape... Plan on putting another engine in the Lumina and selling it for probably $1500 or so. I think it's like a 96 or something...

Then putting a 350 and maybe a 700R4 in the 83 and selling it for about $1500 too!

You know me, I like to wheel and deal....

Not right off hand, since I have an auto...
But I'm pretty sure someone will chime in.
Or you can check out some of the sponsors websites, and see what they offer ---->

EDIT: I found this on Speed Inc's website... The Quick Light would probably fit nice behind there. As long as it's not too long!

These work really well and are small/easy to install.

To be honest, in the last 2 seasons I never looked at my tach when racing. Why look when you can have a light coming out of your perrifial vision and tell you when you need to shift.

Hey guys, just found this thread. Just wanted to say hey, I'm in Brownsburg by the way. And we're having a meet on April 4th grillin out, takin pictures, other activities not yet decided, then cruisin'. There will be a ton of cars there, 6 or 7 Cobalt SS/SC's, 2 or 3 Cobalt SS/TC's, an 03 SVT Cobra, a 400 whp Caliber dumdumdumdumdum (I know, ridiculous), 2 Grand Prix GXP's, two other Grand Prix GTP's, my little bro's 96 T-bird, an 85 camaro that my buddy is building and hopefully some of you guys with camaros, firebirds and t/as will show up too. My buddy who is an HP tuning wiz will also be on hand that day to do some tuning. If you're interested let me know and I'll shoot you his e-mail. Anyways, its nice to meet u guys and hopefully some of you will be upto hangin out. I think we're gonna meet at a park and grill out first because of the numbers, but if the weather is shitty I'm gonna mob out my apartment complex here in B-burg LOL. They'll LOVE all of the exhaust I'm sure. Later guys
