Lowering ... How far and what brand?

It's the damn SLP Headers. My friend has them on his 01 WS.6 and STOCK height and they still scrape.
Lowering depends on your tastes but I could break it down for you:
Eibach's - Super damn low (2" inches)
Crappy ride after a while. Lot's of people report a very "bouncy" ride in the rear wheels. Check up on the Suspension and Brakes forum, every week there is a thread, "I hate my Eibach's!"
DMS - Perfect Stance IMO (1.50-1.75")
Great price at 199 and haven't heard anything bad about these springs. Check out DMS springs and you'll see they have the perfect stance!
Strano Springs - Low but wish it was slightly lower (1.25")
Supposedly the perfect spring and far as handling and weight. You'll save about 15 lbs I think compared to other aftermarket springs. Not so sure about stock springs. The rates are 550 front and 150ish rear. No bad complaints about these. 269 shipped through one of these sponsors.
BMR - About the same as Strano
Decided not to go with these as they were the same height as Strano's and didn't offer and advantage over Strano's. Haven't really heard anything bad about these. On some car's they have a perfect stance when they take out the rear isolator's.
There is more but these are the most used and known. Be prepared though to spend dough. I thought I could just swap springs and be done with it. When I swapped in my Strano's the ride wasn't that great because of the shocks I had on them (stock). I tried to go without upgrading the shocks but after a few months the ride quality was horrible and needed to be changed. I bought the Koni's. I could show you where to get the cheapest price on Koni's if you want. I'll also tell you where you can get the springs swaped for about 100 bux too.

Not really a big fan of lowered Camaros.
Looks nice on Trans Ams though.

I like my G2 springs. They had about a 1.75" drop. They made the car handle like a big go-kart. And the springs are hard enough they keep the underside of the car off the ground. My G2 springs are for sale too and i have a set of bilteins to go with them for $525 .

Im for hotchkis, I dont have them yet, but a guy here in town has them on his car (identical to mine) and i took it for a spin after gears were put in it. Really impressive handled great, rode good for a lowered car IMO very firm ride but felt really stable. It lowered it about 1.25-1.5. Thats all id ever want a camaro lowered once again IMO.
