Default 1968 Camaro for sale.

Im selling my 68 Camaro because I just cant afford this pro touring thing anymore. I keep dumping money into it and im just getting sick of it. Im 21 and i want to start saving up for a house soon. Its a plain jane camaro that ive been working on for almost 2 years now. Heres some specs:

396 big block-bigger cam, 11:1 compression, 750 carb. Has about 2000 miles on it.
Lt1 T56 Six speed tranny. Mcleoud flywheel, centerforce clutch, ATS t56 instalation kit.
DSE 3 inch rear drop springs. Hotchkis front 2 inch drop springs. ATS Tall Spindles. 13 inch C5 corvette brakes up front.
ford 9 inch with 4:11 gears. Mini tubbed.
Auto meter gauges.
Lee steering box
GM type 2 power steering
3 inch dual spintech exhaust with Dr. Gas x pipe
new glass front and back
Paint and body are MINT. It was painted 6 months ago Prowler pearl orange. The same color as steve rupps bad penny. the paint looks amazing and the body is straight as an arrow.

to finish the car needs:
wheels ( i have tires if interested)
shocks
brake lines
install gauges
wire up ignition to get the car running
Im asking $26,000 OBO.

pm me or call me at 847-909-2156

I'm glad your keeping it. It would be worth finishing it if you were to sell it.

Not trying to knock your car, but I think it is not worth near $26k. I'm sure you have a ton in getting it to that point but I've seen a lot of 1st gens completely finished with bad *** wheels and blown motors for less money.

Not trying to pick at ya, it is a nice car and I'm sure it's worth that much to you. And finished, it would bring more money.

If you go on pro-touring.com you will see that i am being fair about this price. Seriously. It seems like a lot but first gen camaros are not cheap by any means these days. They are only going up and up and up in value. Especialy when its got a paint job like this and all the expensive road race suspension and a mini tub. Lots of hard work and money in this car. But im keeping it anyways.

It's worth something that range actually... But Jesse's pic suck because the car is dirty and has junk in it. In future if you want to sell something like that I would detail the car, and I would seriously consider putting the car on some Welds or something to increase the bling...

yep, it wouldnt take much to atleast make it look like a $26,000 car...... i have been in to these cars for a while and know a good bit about the value..... yeah it may be worth $26,000 but not with no wheels, and 85% done with the project...... the big block makes it worth as much as it is really and without it you would be looking at alot less...... and the market has come down alot on these as well if you follow it closly...... cars that were $30,000 are now going for $22,000ish and so on...... anyways im glad you are keeping that car, finish it up and put some nice wheels on it and it will be worth much more than $26,000
