I only see launch control necessary for drag racing and anti lag for rallying. Of course a motor will pop with anti lag. Your basically igniting the fuel on the exhaust stroke and keeping the turbo spinned up. Here is a pic of the talon last winter http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e9...r/HPIM0403.jpg

And one how it sits now. http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e9...t=DSCN0284.jpg

those rims look oddly familiar.

True, but if you're participating in a serious enough rally stage that you need anti lag to make up that extra second out of the starting box, you probably don't care if the motor is junk by the end of the race anyway.

But it does sound cool. makes me hungry for pop corn.

Wow, didn't know L92's were that cheap, is that a website or what is Scog&Dickey . Any idea how much the WEIAND intake is gonna cost or how much better it's going to be over the L76 intake? Also, have you ever planned out a cam for a set up like this? And one last question for now, how do the L92 heads effect the 10.9:1 cr of the LS2?

I figure I'll start building the motor and trans now, all the while keeping my eyes open for a shell, more than likely an FD, those things are amazing inside and out. And a big cam sound resonating out of one makes it that much sweeter

I've been apart of the FW dsm club for the better part of the past 10 months (don't have a problem with them do you?). Some pretty cool guys to hang out with. Just like the halls crowd. No time to make it up as often as I like.

LOL. I'm going to put "B.G. - Bling Bling" on for him next weekend at Hall's...

Nick, I'm sure JPH "The Cam Ninja" can spec something good for that setup.

Would like to see the L92 heads on a bore bigger than 4.000" IMO, but they will work great. You will need offset intake rockers to. Scog has all the stuff to do it. Put a set of RHS 210 heads on it, Sheetmetal intake, 11.5 cr, one of my cams, put it to the floor and LOOK OUT!

http://www.sdparts.com/product/12582...BareGML92.aspx

Nick,

That's the link from SD for the L92 heads, they also have the L76 intake in stock. I can't find that though because my search isn't working over here. (In comp lab at escuela)

How long have we been waiting on the Weiand intake? here's a recent thread about it...note when it was started..

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...+weiand&page=6

But if you have time you may wanna wait...off to class I go!
