that would be correct. it wasn't a drastic swap, I spun a bearing last year and my best option was a 2.5L shortblock with stock 2.0L heads... blah blah blah... the only thing the swap really helped besides giving me all forged internals, I have a more balance torque/hp ratio, torque and boost kicks in sooner, and instead of being around 300whp, Im closer to 400whp. there is no replacement for displacement. the numbers don't lie, thats why when the time comes to do a new project it's gonna be a v-8, probably swapped into something since i'm not a huge fan of MOST of GM's body designs.

Dude, you can get an XT (which is what I have) and shoot fine shots. The rolling shots that Ben took are just a longer exposure and that's basically it. You can do that with any DSLR. Given, you won't get the massive 12mp that he has, but an XT is fine. If you're a beginner you won't even use it to it's full potential anyways. It's a nice entry level DSLR. I'm just an "advanced amateur" and I still don't think I'm using the camera to it's fullest potential..Here's 2 I took and they look okay.

I have others but those are just 2. An XT would be just fine for you.

And Cobb just so you know not all v8, LSX, and ltx guys are all "hard core v8 only" guys....I respected all cars even if its not my taste... I have worked on a few " alot " of peoples cars not all I have liked either but when you put that much time in to a ride you do become alittle offended when people talk trash so I understand its only humon nature to get rubbed the wrong way sometimes..... I think the more cars that come up to halls only make for a better night....
