This is mostly for Ramone, as he hadn't seen it yet, but here's the conclusion of the TT Vette and the Z;

Dude, you're kinda like Cobb. No one really likes you, but since you won't get off our forum, we just continue to ignore you. If you are dead set on racing for $, and talking ****, why don't you just go to Chicago? It'd be closer for you guys, and there's plenty of other guys there just like you.

Been pricing short blocks in the mean time.......figure I've got two major players in the mix right now, both similarily priced for a 383 LS6 shortblock all forged.......just waiting on the outcome of the carnage to really make a decision.

You and Cobb were the only guys with big enough cohonas to come up and talk. Good job guys! I'll try to bring her back up again. I think that this weekend, the 3 of us are heading down to Muncie for the wheelstand contest.
Is anybody else going to muncie on Saturday?
Zach, i am looking at having the big party on the 27th of this month. Hows that sound?

The APS system has issues with larger cubes, that being a 402. The demand for air is so great that instead of the turbo's choking off the motor, they're actually sucking the inlet tubes shut. APS is working on a fix for this. This is my primary reason for going with a short stroker. My little 346 just didn't have enough low end grunt and wouldn't spool the turbo's til' about 3500 RPM. By going with a short stroke and a small bump in cubes, I can get a bump in low end tq and hopefully get the turbo's to spool a little quicker too. Remember that the new setup will still have a baby GT2-3 camshaft in it, so I'm going to use the extra stroke/cubes as a low end crutch to get things moving before the real fun happens. Based off of the research I've done/seen having been on board with the APS kits since inception, they'll support the extra cubes no problem with hard inlet pipes. It's when you get into the 402 range that the air demand becomes so great that issues start happening.

What does Chicago have to do with your car looking slow?
