Ben,

He's lucky, he was only over there for ~5-6 months, not too bad. He's a civil engineer so he was doing rebuilding work.

Good luck on the flight training. Should be a blast once you get to go up in the air on a regular basis!

PST driveshaft measures 44 1/4", 13 miles on it. I PM'd Azar to check fitment, it's the wrong length for my car. Nate/Mike have first dibs on it...please Pm me if interested in it. I will let it go for $375.

Does anyone know if Kenny ended up selling his Vette to the highest bidder at Kruse Auto Auction?

I don't think he was planning to sell it unless it went WAAAAY high.

Pretty sure he had it at Hall's last weekend.

Brandon, we are on hold for awhile with the Nitrous. I'm sending the solenoids back in for Nitro Dave to check out plus I had a setback on the car..as I'm sure you've heard. I will let you know when it's a go and see if your still interested in doing it.

Your car is going to be wicked when you get done though! I only wish I were going to be around to see it transform into the real BEAST that it will be. By the time I get back in town, you'll probably already have it running 9's putting down 1,030 RWHP, and have it broke already.

Speaking of Beast, have you ever considered getting it for the RX-7's licsence plate?
LOL, I thought the EXACT same thing, plus it reminded me of when in the 2nd one, paul walker just happens to stumble across a nissan skyline in the middle of the desert. Like this thing had just been sitting in the middle of BFE Indiana for the past 7 years.

And thanks, I hope that's how it turns out lol. It'll give you a little something to look forward to when you get back... That is if I don't Ricky Bobby it first

And I've got 2 ideas for plates... BEAST and 1 BIG 1 (in reference to the turbo )

Yes I did, and it's not an r1, it has leather seats and a sunroof, so it's the touring edition

I kinda got a little excited, and started working on the car before I took pictures, and by the time I remembered it was dark outside But I did get started on the NastyNate/Shocker style weight reduction, via removing thus far everything but the dash and carpet in the uber rare interior, draining the 2 small lakes that had formed in the car over the past 7 years of sitting (1 in the rear spare tire well, and the other under the passenger side seat and rear bin) and extracting the deceased mice and abandoned nests... I love resto projects

Wear rubber gloves, long sleeves and scrub the hell out of yourself with antibacterial soap and or bleach...haha. Shower really well just in case their fleas got on you. And by all means don't pick up the little black rice pellets!!

I used a shop vac on the 68 Firebird and didn't bother trying to clean it....just through it away and bought a new one. Didn't want to take any risk with it.
