Mocking up the headers. All plugs can be accessed from the top without any issues.

^^^That^^^ is what the final layout will look like.

That sucks rob, but better your stock motor than your new motor. I'm curious though, do you have ls1 or ls6 steam tubes?

Fitment. There is no room to fit the truck manifolds with the turbos where they are (see above) and there is no where else to put the turbos and still fit a cooling system and a/c, which were our goals for the setup.

Thanks for the compliments (and deleting the spammer).

Thanks Andy! Like Blake said, there's no room. There's only ~5" between the head and the shock tower/frame rail. A C6 Manifold barely fit, with the old kit, and wouldn't work to fit AC on this kit.

Anything new with your car since KOTS? Really kicking myself in the *** for not coming up that weekend.

Beast, the car is coming along nicely!

Scott, sorry to hear you never got your car figured out. I am NOT starting anything because I know everyone is happy with their current tunes from Frost, but I would have just kept things simple and not done the dual tune setup. There are tons of options of keeping it simple that probably could have had you without the issues.

I think next year will be a good year for the car scene also. Got some fast cars that will be on the streets of the Fort! ...or in Robbies case, a fast car in the works that will be seen at a few car shows and once at the track, but here's hoping you come out on a regular basis and enjoy your $25,000+ investment you have started.

My car is ALMOST back to running, though sometime shortly I'm tearing apart the cooling system to change it out to AN fittings throughout. Had a friend on another forum just about wad his up when a radiator hose blew off. Considering the propensity of the LS to lift heads under boost, I'd rather not test the strength of the stainless hoses I have now.

Well it was like christmas today got some of my parts in....BMR turbo k-member, a-arms, rear lca's, my intercooler and the piping. Then the blower showed up from Procharger, F1A polished headunit along with my Procharger race bypass!! Now I am just waiting on my LSxsolutions bracket, and then its time to start mocking the FMIC!! Can't wait to see how this thing looks when Nate and I are done with it!!

PS--Ben I guess I dont know when it became anyones business how I drive or dont drive or even what I do with my car. I am sorry I dont daily drive it or take it on cross country drives and to the drag strip constantly! ITS MY CAR AND I ENJOY IT DIFFERENTLY MAYBE THAN OTHERS SO WHO CARES!!

Let me know how it turns out Rob. Mines next with a D1SC! Are you going to have to cut the car up at all to get that intercooler to fit?

Hey Rob,

Why not an F1C?

I had a local friends 408/ETP heads/10.8:1 SCR 4l80'd F1C on for preliminary work today. I think they have a thread for this car on here somewhere...

I feel the f1a is capable of doing what I need done as far as boost goes plus the f1c is alot bigger housing so I don't wanna have a bigger fitment issue than I already may have. What kind of boost is he running on that combo and what did it put down thro the auto?

Robbie, its not my buisness, and by all means drive it how you want it. It doesn't matter if it does not make sense to me why you could drop $25,000+ on something you won't use more than a slight occasion.

Are you planning on running max boost with the F1A? If so, do you plan on running race gas through it? Or were you planning on meth injection like myself?
