Got the fabrication done for the new cooling system and intercooler done on my car:

Still have to clean it up a bit and get it primed/painted. Then I need to measure out the AN hoses for the radiator and get those assembled. Doesn't look like tons of fun to assemble those fittings.

Fort Wayne is doing a survey on how to spend approximately $75 million it will be receiving over the next 3 years. Please vote for the dragstrip! I think you can only cast a maximum of 3 votes per idea. Pass it on!

GM closed after 2nd shift last night. First time they've preemptively closed the plant since I've been there (14 years). They start back up tonight @ 10:30.

Been awhile since I been over here, I seen the vote for the track so I voted too. This was a pretty bad storm with the drifting. I spent 4 hours just in front of the house shoveling our cars out. Hope everyone has been doing ok out there.

Chris did an amazing job of fusion welding the manifolds

And final welding the collectors

All that's left with the manifolds is an EGT bung on cyl 7, wastegate plumbing off the elbows, and finalize collector fitment

As a quick update on Nick's build, we got the passenger side collector final fitted to the header, looks great. We also got the wastegate pipe notched into the collector and got the collector drilled/cut for the wastegate. Unfortunately my wife wrecked our Subaru in the storm so I had to stop early and head home.

We should be able to finish up both headers/collectors/wastegates next weekend and check that off the list.

Default Little up date on my car!

Well its been awhile since I have updated....seems like everytime we would plan to work on this thing, it would end up snowing and of course Nate and I do snow removal so the car got put on hold!!

We ended up changing the intercooler around a bit after Nate talked to Bell Intercoolers....we ended up flipping the inlet tank to the top and then having a 3.5" outlet welded on. Also had two mounting tabs per side welded onto the intercooler for our fog lights. Thanks to Bill Davis for his amazing work!!

We also had Bill do a little work to the radiator...welded on our steamtube and also he fabricated a fan shroud for it. Still deciding on what we want for fans......

Also this week I had these show up......

Hopefully this week we can finish up the fog lights and the little welding we got to do. This thing will be off to paint in 2 weeks is the plan then back for reassembly. JPH (Joe) has to get this motor assembled also !!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here in the Fort Wayne area know who owns a 05/06 (not sure what year) GTO with a blower (fairly loud), custom rims, and bluish paint? I saw this car last year at the end of fall and thought it was pretty nice looking and just wondered what the specs were on the car.
