F-you Cobb i knew i was right yesterday at wings

Jacking
The C5 was the first car to use hydroformed frame rails. Hydroformed rails are quickly becoming a common platform for new cars, but not many shops are prepared to lift these vehicles. The C5 requires an adapter for regular jacks and lifts to fit the jacking points. Make your own adapters with a hockey puck (or two) with a 1 1/2" eye bolt screwed thru the center. Stick the eye bolt thru the slit in the jacking point, turn 90 degrees, place jack under adapter and jack away....if you can get the jack under the car. You may have to use ramps. The C5 is so low that most people make their own wooden ramps....rhino ramps are too steep.

I've been able to lift them safely with an aluminum jack and a hockey puck.

Fastbird93 (sean) makes/has them.

PS: Your going to need the BB1 cam to justify having a line lock on your vette though!

He makes kits both for the C5 and C6, and he now has kits for 4th gen F-bodies (both LT1 and LS1). His kits are badass, don't require drilling (like pretty much all the others), and are made with top notch parts.

I'll PM you the details, as he is not a sponser on this board.

ahhh i had to do some searching to find pictures of what you're talking about, but i understand now. to say you were right, would be an exageration, you didn't have answer for me yesterday, all you said was that i was wrong, and i really don't remember you saying anything about pucks.

why add heads later, do it all at once, it's not exactly like you have plans to race anyone soon.

p.s. beast... i dont understand?
