Well I really don't think you need a dana 60(my car has this, and everyone knows what I'm doing). Your stock 10 bolt with a girdle, good gears and wheel studs ALL setup properly with GOOD fluids(like sdb mentioned) should workout perfect for you. I wouldn't put anything more then a 3:73 gear in it, but I think a 3:42 would be better for you along with a 3200-3400 stall.

Think its possible to get the same results with an M6/10-bolt and run 10s like SDB? Or is it too harsh on the rear axle with the manual?

Suspension geometry totally different on yuor truck than a 4 gen F body...check out the websites of people with fast S-10's and see what they are doing.
The 9" or 8.8" is what I was thinking of doing. From what I understand the 8.8 actually bolts in the stock location on a s-10, but the housing it self is longer. I would think that would help in making a easier install. I was just asking about the 10 bolt because I plan on running that for this coming season.

That makes me feel alot better. I will start looking for parts and just start to stock pile everything for a weekend of switchin gears...So from the top 3400 with 100hp spray, no more then 3:73 gears and the rear end set up that SBD was telling about. With all that I should not worry about the rear end correct?? Now how much will the tranny itself take? Thanks for helping me with all of this...everyone it has been a big help on where I need to go.

Stick will kill the rear MUCH quicker than an auto. I wouldn't trust a 10 bolt behind a 6 speed, personally.

Dynomax Race Bullet. It's straight through, but does a decent job of quieting it down. They come in 3.5" diameter, and sound, well, like a slightly more quiet open downpipe.

A stock 4L60e?

Save some money for RPM, you're going to kill it quickly with that setup.

Sure. It's only a matter of time before it will let go though.

I have to leave very early on Sunday the 4th to head back to OTS. Its a good 10.5 hour drive and I am sure to have an un-friendly greeting when I return (as we were informed when we left for the break). The last thing I would need is to set myself behind the power curve at the start of that painfull day by not getting a full nights sleep ect.

We will have to setup to hang out on Friday night. I'm still thinking dinner somewhere not too fancy, and then whatever afterwards. Maybe a movie or playing some video games somewhere or something.
