The Walbro pump may be fine, but you need to make sure all the fuel lines (especially the rubber ones in your tank), along with fittings are E85 friendly. Otherwise you are looking at a whole new shlew of problems.

My big deal with E85 and ethanol as fuel in general is that its a big crock of sh*t. By the time corn is grown, harvested, transported, refined, and then transported again, we have ended up spending more $ than what it is saving us at the pump. The only ones really making out on this is the farmers who are growing the corn. Most cars run like crap on it, and unless your vehicle is specifically meant to run it, it can cause some large problems.

On the flip side, Blake has pointed out that even though mileage for the price equals out, if your car is properly setup for it, it can work well. I just wouldn't ever do it on account I hate the concept in general, and not every pump offers it anyways, so it would never be a sure thing you could get it every time.

I couldn't tell you how much fuel I added. I was already running a 42 lbs injector setup, and a Walbro 255 when I changed. With my tuning software it is just a matter of adjusting the stoich AFR on it. After that I tweaked my VE tables and I was good to go.

As far as the politics/financials go... I just did it for the hell of it honestly. It costs me about the same.

In regard to production costs, corn is retarded to use, but whip grass has some potential, as does cellulosic ethanol. Both whip grass and cellulosic can have zero or negative carbon footprints. That said, I drive a V8 with a big cam and 4.10 gears. **** the environment.

Woohoo! GJ. I was on the verge last year for a kid but it didn't happen. Now you have a kid to help on the car.

Another good thing with the victor is you won't have to worry about blowing out the welds like you would with a magnus since it is of course Cast.
No spikes or creeps unless it bounces off the rev limiter, then it hits 17lbs. My T3/60-1 has a .70A/R compressor with a max flow rate of 61 lb/min and a .82A/R turbine. With the increased VE and flow because of the cams and IM, my boost levels shouldn't have to go up to much to hit the power numbers that I'm planning on. I;m not sure if I could run a mustang TB or not.

I've got ss braided fuel lines, but I'll most def triple check the hoses, and the driveability and the way it runs is all in the tune, which is why I'll be taking it to the best!!!
I'd much rather give the farmers my money than the ****** oil companies... plus e85 is 105-110 octane

I would as well, however the oil companies are still making out over it because of all the transportation costs, and harvesting costs. Most people could probably care less, but in a time of financial trouble that our country is in right now, it is utterly stupid for us to be wasting our money in ethanol based fuels as it is not saving us a penny.
