Add to the list of "hadn't planned on buying":
UMI K-member.
Speed Inc. had them 15% off with free shipping. $412 delivered seemed like a deal. Wanted a BMR "turbo" K, but wasn't worth the extra $240.

Needs: rear end assembled, cooling system designed/assembled, turbo cold side designed/assembled, brake system designed/assembled and lots of little wiring details (relocating some stuff, culling unnecessary wiring, etc).
I expect we'll have the cooling and coldside in the next month so that it can drive and move to get registered, and then probably sort out all the wiring and smaller issues over the winter so that it's ready for spring; not sure what Nick thinks though.

As long as it's "streetable" by 10/31 so I can register it and get my "BEASTT" plate, all is good in the hood

LOL, Tony's a cool guy. He's already said Blake's and my car should beat him, but then again he also said he should lose to some other people and he's beat them, so who knows. I hope he gets his spark issue figured out so he can bring it out on e85 and race gas next year. That thing will REALLY fly then

Already getting bids for a new rear. Most likely a Midwest Fab9 like Darren has. Erik says 31 spline axles are Ok, but recommended the 35 splines with a locker. Backbraced, aluminum center, locker, powder coated, new chromemoly driveshaft and shipping was $3550. Pretty good deal considering it comes with a fully adjustable TA, too.

Weight reduction and there won't be a more convenient time to do it than now.
