Another Hall's deal!!!
Well US41 was the ******* bomb. Amazing track and amazing setup. Awsome pits and i love the enviroiment of grudge night.
And the way things went down with south bend were the oppisite of what i thought would happen.
Starfire and Kline454 are baller *** guys. I understand the drama between chris and the lt1 but it was worked out. Both have very LEGIT cars. I just wanted to personally apalogize to starfire as well. Baller *** guy and baller *** car.
And hopefully the race between the lt1 and the truck will happen one day......

SDB, 131.95mph was my best trap.
Luke gave me a few tips but there's only so much you can do with stock suspension.
I'd like to work on a better hole shot, but the IRS is limiting me.
I'm seriously considering going solid this winter, especially after gettin worked by Chris...as usual..lol

I have a few friends with the same power and bone stock suspension like me and they're running exactly what SDB is calling...10.6-10.7s all day.
The difference is the dork behind the wheel.
My friend Jon from Indy:

My friend Charlie from Missouri...(he's 60yrs young):

Maybe I'll wait and see how the Cobra IRS treats you Nick.
If you can get some decent short times, I'll go that route.
I'd really hate to lose cornering ability..although I don't know how much of a difference it will be.

SDB,
I know you're just trying to **** me off. I highly doubt Terry would have come over and helped me fix the oil leak on it, if he wasn't worth his word. Terry is a good guy, and I highly doubt he would have sold me the car if he knew it was broke.
I'll admit, something is wrong with it...did Terry know it? Highly doubt it.

Hey Drew, I 100% guarantee your daily is faster than my daily. If that makes you feel any better...
And Tony, you're making as much power as Zinx? Damn, son.
edit: And yes, I agree, Terry wouldn't purposely screw anybody over, he's a good guy.

You bought that car???? The white regal????? My buddy is the mechanic that put the junkyard motor in there!!!!!! there was a horrible rod knock in it, he got a junkyard motor from Economy Motors, my buddy threw it in. Ran fine, just not nearly as fast as it used to be! Terry never told you this????????????????????
man...that sucks! Does it still have the bolt on mods to it?
JUST KIDDING.....OF COURSE THE MOTOR WASNT REPLACED....I JUST THINK IT IS DRIVER ERROR!!!
You know Terry wouldn't do you like that! it is weird how mch slower it is now though!

It has a junkyard motor in it, 90k miles. Drew knew that when he bought it.
The first replacement block Terry put in ate a rod (the original ate a piston as the tune was FUCKED), the second block has been fine minus an oil leak that is fixed.
The tune is neutered right now to keep the motor alive on the 3.2 pulley. It needs a 3.3-3.4 pulley some sorting and a solid tune. It ran a lot faster before because it was trying to chew itself up, which it eventually succeeded in doing.
Just the opinion of a guy who kept a 350 wheel HP L67 alive with 17 psi off an Eaton for 160k miles...

If you read the top of my post:
"It has a junkyard motor in it, 90k miles. Drew knew that when he bought it."
It's actually better the motor has been replaced, the stocker had 130k+ miles on it, the new one is sub 100k, so at least it's a little more fresh.
It needs the pulley, probably a look taken at the heads, the blower and the manifolds, then a lot of tune work. I haven't had time to deal with it, so for now, it gets the timing pulled back to stop the detonation it was seeing and keep the motor healthy.
