Was pretty cool seeing that car moving under it's own power for the first time in... 16 years by the best Nick and I can guess. Pretty amazing.

Best part? It fired up, and, aside from Nick stalling it... made it around the block a-ok. Only 1-2 minutes of total run time, but still pretty cool.

Nick, R u running and driving it around without a cooling system? I know you said it was just for a few minutes but I would be afraid of overheating the cylinders/scored pistons or something. . . . . maybe I'm being too cautious?

Nice harness Blake. That was part of my winter project as well. Are you having to depen your connectors to get the mesh loom on there or are you able to expand it enough. Also, where the he!! do you get the depening tools for all the connectors?

It ran for about 2 minutes total. Not long enough to hurt anything.

I use a small screwderiver, but you can get the tools on eBay.

Some of them I could slide it over, some I depin and others I mark, cut, sleeve than solder them back together (with glue filled heat shrink over the solder joints).

Blake - Let me know what you think of that Lingenfelter 2step. I planed on picking one of those up for the C6 when/if I do all my traction stuff this winter. I've heard a couple bad reviews on them, but then again, it could have been 99% user error. I'd just like to know whether or not to waste my money on it, lol.

Roger. I talked with Ryan about it a bit; from what I've read and what Ryan has seen, it seems 99% of the issues are install problems. I know 110% my install will be as good as it can be (I solder and heat shrink everything and I'm currently rebuilding and testing every harness in the car). If I have problems with it, I'll work with them to make sure that we find what's causing it and solve it for the future ones.

That said, I doubt there will be any trouble. It is a little physically larger than I expected, but it seems very well put together.
