^Thanks Dan. I'd like to upgrade my video camera sometime for an HD. That should up the quality a notch, and allow for more things I am able to do.
When I get back for good, I wouldn't mind doing more video. Maybe even a random one for all you guys and your cars.

Ben,
If you decide to get an HD camcorder, the GoPro HD units do a really nice job and are pretty well priced.
I got the RX7 running again last night. Still have a ton of little things to do before it's "ready" but at least it runs (which means all of my wiring seems to be a-ok).

However, they don't really compare quality wise to some of the other HD Camera's out there. I am actually leaning right now towards the Canon HV30. The quality is amazing, and it has some nice goodies that allow for great HD footage at very low light levels (with all the night driving, that would be a must). Who knows what will be available when I am actually going to be in the market for one. It would be pointless to get one now as technology keeps updating, and newer and better units are always coming out for cheeper. It (along with several other things) will have to wait until I finish building my house.
Did you ever get the meth kit situation figured out? Are you still doing all your own tuning?

Yeah, no bites on the Alkycontrol kit, and I can't justify 1000+ dollars out of pocket just because I think the FJO setup is "neat", so I'll just keep my current setup. Nothing wrong with it, I just liked the concept of the FJO. Maybe next year, I need a clutch first anyway. ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
And yes, still doing my own tuning. I really think I have a pretty good grasp on what needs done, though time will tell I suppose. I think now that I should have all the electrical systems sorted as well as good monitoring of all my vitals, it should be relatively simple. Honestly, drivability is the hard part, and I have that at 90% right now. WOT isn't really too bad, though I have a new learning curve with the methanol.
I hear you on the GoPro. I hadn't thought of the low light; I've not seen any footage from them on that, but it's a very good point to ponder. I know a dealer for them, so I can get them at a good price, and they have a mount that fits my cage, which is why I've been eyeballing them.

FWIW most cameras (both video and regular) have a screw in port on the bottom allowing you to mount them in different areas on your own (thats what I have done).

The Wayne Oil And Pump factory by River City Bar and Grill makes a cool backdrop. Down under the old train platforms near the City County Building is neat too, if you can get the right lighting. Back alleys behind some of the older brick buildings in town and around GE have some cool scenery too. Depends what's your looking for though.

Welp, the RX7 moved under it's own power last night. Major issues are sorted, just detail work now. Hopefully it should be out and about next week.

I started to get my stuff sorted out until we just found out the wife is expected our second child the very end of Sept. So i'm hoping to just get the car running good as is and get to the track a few times this year. Plus i'll be helping John get his 6.0 s10 up and running.

Nick,
I've got a bunch of injector pigtails with clips on them. At least 4-5. You can come snag one if you need it; I'm just North of town.

Anyone know of a place around town that can test the flow rate and pressure of electrical pumps i.e. my meth injection pump?
Also, has anyone had Pancea or ProStrip ceramic coat your headers?
Third, and third mostly, kick Shawn in the ***** the next time you see him for selling me a bad thermostat that caused the motor in the GSR to overheat and crack a sleeve
