Downpipes, charge pipes, water lines for the air to water intercoolers, and oil feed/drains is all it needs to be back on the road, cracka. Unfortunately living for a month on my savings account is holding me up from buying some of the more expensive pieces needed

That's right, because all the other fast cars in Fort Wayne aren't on jackstands, they're all out running... oh, wait.
Uh oh, running out of fuel, time for MORE WALBROS!
I kid.

Honestly, there is nothing at all wrong with the dual Walbro setups, though with the luck most here (and elsewhere) have with Walbro pumps, I'd be looking at some Bosch pumps at least.
I'll just never follow the "5000 dollar engine, 2500 dollar tranny, 90 dollar fuel pump" concept. Why would you go half *** on the part that keeps your engine alive? Do it once, do it right.

I have roughly $250 in my fuel pump system (dual in tank Walbros), and mine will easily support up to 900+ RWHP. The fuel system has never failed, or given me any problems, and most know I don't baby foot my car. It has withstood years of abuse and done nothing but smile for more.
Now, nothing against the high dollar systems either. If I was doing an insanity build like Nick, I probably would have gone the same route. But if it were something in the 500-900 RWHP range, I would not spend the big $ if I didn't have to.

Your definition of fast car differs greatly from mine then...
Ben, I plan on switching to e85 soon, and 4-5 walbros to handle 2000hp worth of fuel is a bit excessive LOL. I like the 044s, but I got my 4303 for the cost of 2 of those.

Nate, your red car definatly fires me up! There are too few clean LT1's in the Fort. When are you getting that mug up and running? Are you still running the GM847 cam with those monster heads? God thats gonna sound sick! The LTX shootout is in September FWIW.
Nick, like I said, if I were going with a insane monster build like yours which is capable of the amount of power you will be putting down, I would not go with any amount of 255 lph pumps either, but be spending the $ like you did on a top dollar setup.

I have Rob's car to finish, a car coming from Chi-town for a blower build, Bryan's SS for a **** ton of parts all by the second week of June. Plus I have been talking with three other people about builds one being a 2010 camaro cam/exhaust job and another tbss that wants a turbo system like the one we just finished last year. I don't think that video made its way over to tech yet so here is a little teaser of how it turned out. Only thing we changed over last years stuff was new 83lb. injectors and we had Bill Davis completely fab a new turbo back exhaust. The video is of a 4 pound brake boost launch. Truck makes around 14psi in first gear and around 16.5psi at the top of second. Not the best video but gives you the idea that when you pull up at a light next to it just pull over cry LOL

Not at all. No offense taken or meant, hence the mom's garage reference.
We all need to get the group together. Anyone down for dinner then Fast 5 next Friday?

Dual Walbros up to ~750-800 RWHP on gasoline (forced induction) makes good sense. Personally I would go with 044 Bosch pumps, which should do an easy 1000 RWHP on gasoline, and you don't have to wonder if you got a knockoff.
That said, 2x pumps is a great way to end up losing one and going lean. At least 2x as likely anyway. I'm sure someone else here took statistics. When you get into the 3x-4x pump setups... well, let's be blunt, that's half ***, get a real electric pump or just put a belt driven one on. If I had known my final goals at the beginning on my car, I'd have a belt driven pump, personally. Lack of space makes that tough now though.
BTW, for anyone who didn't pay attention in fluid dynamics, taking one pump that can handle 500 RWHP, and adding a second identical pump does not equal 1000 RWHP capability, more like ~900 or so. Diminishing returns in full effect.

It will be probably next summer as I have too many projects lined up that will keep me from being able to work on it. It will have the GM847 cam and the heads, hell its fully assembled just waiting for a few little parts and time.
