Hey guys,
Im looking for a set of stock coil springs for my 98 Z28. I would prefer a set with lower miles (under 60k). Let me know if anyone has anything. Please pm me.
Thanks,
Ryan

Won't work pal. Your a parts guy you should know that, and a Camaro owner to boot.
Clarification to 1bad98z...FITMENT NOT THE ISSUE, theyd o have aspring rate difference. LT1 110 vs. LS1 114. FYI.

Really, spring rates are different but whatever and why dont you order some stock so you can take care of the customers that walk in there? Oh wait that would take work ....wouldn't it. LOL

Cooling system is sealed up, no leaks in my testing so far. Ready for some street tuning...
Thanks to Chris for the bitchin' welding work.

Here's something for you all to drool over. Yes, it's a '79 Pinto with a flat hood and sunroof! This is a buddy of mine out here in KC. This car drives like a street car! He plans to race it a ton this year and also take it on drag week. Enjoy!
Keep in mind the numbers are on LOW boost, little timing, very rich, and going through a loose converter and TH400!
I want to say last year on one of the first hits it went 5.5x to the 1/8th mile at somewhere around 135-140mph. That's mid-low 8 second potential.

Tried to go to the track last night but after driving out there they called it due to the wind so we hit the dyno instead.
Engine Specs:
LSX 408 9:1
Hydraulic 246/242 .640 lift
Trickflow 220 CNC Heads
Victor Intake/90mm TB
Turbo Specs:
Precision Billet 67/65 .68 T4
Precision 46mm Wastegates
Twin Precision 1000hp A2W Intercoolers
Fueling:
Magnafuel EFI 750
Precision 120# injectors
BS3 Engine management
Drivetrain:
TH400 - PTC Converter
8.8 Ford - 275 Radial
The car was lean at the track. I changed fuel pumps and used the same tuneup from the track making it very rich. The car made 991 @ 6400rpm with 16#s of boost and 15 degrees of timing with the air fuels low 10:1.
I'm going to put the .82 exhaust housing on it for a race this weekend. It spools almost instantly with the .68 exhaust housings.

They took the Pinto to KCIR last night. Made several nice passes, then on the last one the intercooler pump wasn't working. So on that pass it was on 19 psi, with it pulling 5 degrees because of the pump not working. With only 14 degrees of timing it went 8.30 at 170 mph!
finishing my nova
Calling for help again!
The Nova has the wiring harness on & a new ECM (so the injectors are now pulsing), but I am in need of a tune or someone to use my HP Tuners to tune it. Where in Fort Wayne can I go to get this tuned?
Thanks,
Brandon
This is an attempt to start. I put on the MAF sensor today, and that made no difference. It sounded and acted the same. Do you guys think it just needs tuned or something else?

Josh, that Pinto is F-N retarded (in a badass way)!
Don't know that I would have done that to a Pinto (although I am diggin' the interior).
Is that a street legal car? Or is it a track only deal?
Would be a bitchin setup for a street car.
BTW, you got any video of that thing?

It should behave better than that regardless of MAF. I just got my buddy's truck going today, it has no MAF, no O2s, and a bone stock tune (just killed the relevant SES codes) and it fires on a touch of the key and idles/revs very cleanly.
You sure all your injectors/coils are firing? That sounds to me like it may be running on one bank only. Both manifolds hot? Does it respond to throttle input? What mods to the engine?
Answer that and I might be able to give you some advice.

Here's the only video I can find right now. Not a very good one, but it was from yesterday at a street car race in Wichita, KS. Tim qualified number one with a 8.60 at 168 mph and went to the final, where he rolled through the beams and red-lit.
