Its a little bigger than last year, the crank was cracked last year, and I didnt even know it! So I put a stroker crank in it, so now its 390 cu in. vs the old 350 cu in. Same setup as last year other than that. I need to tune the nitrous some more, it has plenty more ET in it. I was losing a whole second off the ET last year from a 150 shot, while gaining 14 mph
That shot was 9 tenths faster than motor alone, and 14 mph quicker, but on a 250 shot.
The acceleration and deceleration rate of the piston and the height of the piston at 35* btdc has changed when i switched to the stroker crank and shorter rods. So after I tune the ignition timing, itll pick up a bunch. . . . I hope

I'd planned on being there. Car didn't get done @ 14-69 in time to pick it up on my way to work. Of course, they aren't open on Saturdays, so I can't get it until Monday. Working 12's today through Tuesday. It was a balmy 87* in our shop yesterday. With 6 big fans going full blast. Less than ideal working conditions, to say the least...

Friday night was a bit like the old days...cruise was good before the leaders of the pack f'd us @ Coliseum and Hobson....then it was a split cruise

I wanted to let you know I got the nova started. I had the wrong pedal for my DBW set up. I got a pedal & TAC harness from Speartech down in Anderson.

Who was that? Only one's I can think of that get on here, that weren't in f-bodies were Blake and I

Pick up the camaro tomorrow from 14-69 Auto Body after they repaired the "wreath damage", painted the lower valance and repaired some chips, etc.
Ordered my race-car hood today, lol. VFN Sunoco wide bolt on. Should be here in a month.
Just as I got off the phone, Julie and Allison got home from swim team practice. She asks if I noticed the "damage" when I got home from work last night. When she was at the kids' tennis practice yesterday, the storm came in and basically, exploded a plastic storage shed at the pool. The top blew off and whacked her Impala pretty good. 10" long crease in the passenger rear quarter panel and a bunch of stratches on the quarter and tail light lens. I bet I get a Christmas card from 14-69 Auto Body this year. Just sayin'.

Don't know if I am going to Bodigans. I know its a big deal, but all I remember about it is that I had to park my car in the grass (and it was muddy then), and there were a TON of people getting hammered and then driving away. The burnouts were pretty cool, but overall it wasn't really my idea of a good place to be with my car.
