It seemed like a great turnout. I did not spend a long time there due to a tired 4 year old, but some amazing rides:

Hey crosstraining, is your car the first picture you posted? I tried to look for your car but if you didn't have your hood popped open I couldn't really tell it was yours. I think I saw your car leaving though and I think I saw you later that night drive by Hires cuz I was talking to Joe outside and said he was pretty sure that was you. I know the guy that had the silver G8 GT behind you in the first picture. Did you happen to see my car? The only thing different on my car than in my signature picture is I had my 15" black centered Weld RT-S wheels on. I was in the same parking lot but sort of west of you along the outside of the parking lot.

The car in the 1st pic is not mine. Mine looks very similar though. I did not get to take the Nova there, my daughter will not ride in it yet.
We were out doing other stuff & I convinced them to stop by. It was practicaly a sprint through because my daughter was getting tired.
That was me driving by Hires though.
I did not see your car, but I wish I would have
Now that I can drive my car again, let me know when you head out. I would like to meet some of local LS guys.

Big thanks to Beast for lending a hand in wrenching last night. It felt good to be turning wrenches under a car again.

My Formula is officially back on the streets. These viper internals feel AMAZING. Makes me consider doing it to the tranny in my Z.

For anyone interested there is a car show in downtown Columbia City today from 8am until 1pm. Its one of my favorite car shows. They shut down the streets for it, and it is well organized. It usually has a great turnout. Hope to see some familiar faces there.

Default Muncie Track Rental Date Sept. 26th

Just want to let everyone know that a local group of guys has rented out Muncie Dragway on Wednesday September 26th from 10am-4pm. Gates will open up at 9am. Cost is $35 for racer and FREE for spectators. We will need volunteers to help with timing system, burnout box and the ticket box. If rain is a factor, the rain date will be held on October 3rd.

Thanks, Joe

Hey guys I am looking for some tire suggestions. I am looking to put some 255/60 15 on the rear & maybe 215/70 14 for the front of my 72 Nova.
I have looked at BF Goodrich radial TA's & Mastercraft Avenger's. I have not heard of Mastercraft, has anyone used them? I will mainly be weekend cruising.
Thanks,
Brandon

New trans: Rossler Terminator 1.76, paired with a PTC converter. Yeehaw.

Crosstraining, I've had good luck with Goodyear and Michelin on cruisers. Are you wanting cheap, or sticky?

Sticky, but I may try to wait until Spring. I may change the rear end & then get bigger wheels too.

If anyone is looking for something to do Labor Day weekend, Fort Wayne is having an air show.

https://www.fwairshow.com/

I'll be there along with the KC-135 that I fly, and I'd be happy to show any of you the jet.

A buddy of mine from my squadron will be performing some wicked aerobatics in his stunt plane. I'd be able to get anyone who is interested in a quick ride in it. I couldnt get him to do it for free, but he said he would hook any of my Fort Wayne friends up for $125 for a flight. Trust me when I say, if you do the flight, your gonna see some serious flying that I can promise, you won't forget (bring a barf bag if you can't handle it cause your gonna pull more Gs and do more stunts than a fighter jet would).
