Yea I was off my personal best by 3 tenths.Thats what hot weather will get you. But at least we weren't sitting around the house surfing kiddie ****, playing with our weenie like someone we know that won't street race or drag race because he's hooked on strippers, **** and the dog park (SDB)!
Humidity was the biggest factor...very heavy air and superchargers hate that!!

Well, from 1990 to 2006 I think I did more street racing than everyone on this forum put together...literally! Never liked hot weather racing, just sucks, you know its gonna be shitty times! I have looked at some cars, still nothing I like (except new Z06, and that is waaaayyy too much $$$)

Shitty. That was my trap
D, thanks a ton for letting me borrow the DR's. I was too worried about breaking the rear. Mostly cause I don't have enough to buy a new one if I destroyed it, and unlike my Z, the Formula is a DD so I can't have it broke.
I didn't really expect it to hook like a champ anyways since even after I lowered the tire pressure, it still was at 27#'s. They should've really been dropped to about 20#'s at least for me to get them to hook. I would rather have it end up like it did that I ran lousy, and been able to drive home, than ran a good time all to have to buy a new rear.
It was a good time, even though it was hot, and half of us didn't run any good times (for those wondering, my best of the evening was actually on the Khumo's, 13.0 @ 116 with a 2.4 60' time).

Yea he shut it down at the 1000 ft mark and coasted to an 8.30. NOw that would be sweet. SDB ,I was just f'n with you you'v had some fast *** cars now it time to get another one . I bet if you took all the money you spent on strippers and saved it for a year you could have that bad *** vette, the Ricky Bobby 1,000hp twin turbo special . LOL.

Yeah it really sucks, I can't believe how hard it came out of the hole, I was actually being pretty soft on the gas leaving and it still pulled a 1.7 the first time out, so I'm stoked about that, just wish I could have made one pass, it honestly feels like it should run decent, and I know I have alot more in the 60ft.
