If ya wanna be quik thats the way to go, I thought the same thing but a convertor makes it fun. And also look at it this way if ya don't end up likin the auto, that SS is gonna be alot easier to get rid of than the honda.

The 3 cars I own are all manuals, and I personally wouldn't have it any other way. But if you really want a car that is fast for 1/4 racing from a stop, auto with stall converter is the way to go like Shawn is saying.

Back in the day, SDB was consistantly one of the fastest, and all he did was run good suspension/sticky tires, have his auto built for the hole shot, and sprayed the **** out of it. That is the Formula for a fast car for the least amount of work every time.

I'd still rather be slower and enjoy going through the gears personally though

Never had an auto in any of my mustangs but after having this with the built trans & converter I don't think my next car will be a manual. See if somebody will let you drive their stalled auto around and see if you like it, heck you could drive mine but its slow!

I agree completely. I pulled the automatic in my car and put in a 6 speed. I know full well it's slower, but damn is it more entertaining.

I figured out my missfire. One of my NOSzle injectors was slightly cocked in the intake, and was letting just a little bit of air in, causing the bank to run lean, causing the O2 to read lean, causing the PCM to add fuel, causing it to missfire. Fun. All fixed now, my idle is better, I picked up 1/2" of vacuum, and now my left bank is rich... LOL.

So who's coming out tonight? I'll be out to cause some trouble along with Azar.

Well it's official - max power=407.33 max torque=375.23
I couldn't be happier with the numbers. Thanks again to jph, nasty, B. Herter, and all the people at Brenspeed! Hopefully some pics and vids of the event are posted soon by the people that took them. It was a lot of fun and I avoided the rain
