Just an update on my little fun project....
After a few months/ "weekends mainly" the first gtm left for paint. The second one will be done and ready for paint by next week hopefully.
2009 viper snakeskin green will be the color of my first one. The second will be a red varient...
1988 lbs completed weight throwing in 40lbs for paint....

Snapzilla! That thing is sweet! Are you using a Porsche tranaxle? What's all done to the LSx? Jesse, I may have to take a road trip to see that thing...I've never seen an FFR GTM in real life!

Thanks Azar, Yeah they are definatly different looking. It is odd to see a car that is lower than my waist when on the ground. I set it to 5 inches hight from frame and it is 40.3 inches tall to the center of the roof point. Im supposed to have it set at 4 inches from the ground, but i like the "pot hole protection"
As for the transaxles, Yes i am using 2 of the gt3 cupcar tranaxles with a tripple disk custom clutch setup. The Clutch is so hard to press down on, i may have to change it, or get a robotic leg..
The LSX blocks are from Vengence racing i think. 454 cubic inch made for LOTS of boost or nitrous. Afr modified heads 240cc i think now, the intake will be a TVS 2300 blower setup, or the 8 throttlebody harrop intake setup with a 200 shot. Not sure yet on that...
Target hp is 850 drivable horsepower that i will regulate via software to make it put down only what it can without killing me. lol

Hmm, how's the panel fit on the GTM? I saw one of the "Final Production" units that FFR built themselves and it left a lot to be desired vs. something like an Ultima. Have they refined it any?
I realize it's a kit car, and I'm damn picky (I was pointing out flaws on the Foose Hemisfear at the Nationals last year...) but for 20k+ I'd expect good panel fit.
And is the motor built for boost or nitrous? A 2300 blower and a 200 shot of nitrous want vastly different bottom end combinations... I'm sure it'll make 1,113 wheel HP either way though.

20k for the kit cost dont expect much from it. Expect to only use that for the plans it comes with and the frame/body panels. ALL the rest needs to be made how "YOU" want it.
To do it the way i want i left out almost all the "GTM" parts.
The interior on mine are alot better, Real Gauge cluster, full double din oem navigation, better "Real" leather, Carpet ect, full sound deadner/ padding for quiet interior ect.....
That is the exact reason why i didnt buy 2 ultima instead...

Damn, I'm going to be 3-4 days late getting my car put back together. If all goes well (really, really, really well) I'll be out Friday or Saturday though.
I may be up to ride down and watch/help with anything I can though. My wife is sick currently though; hopefully she's better by then, I'm not going to leave her here by herself and sick. I work about 1/2 mile from that gas station and get off at 5, so it's not much of a jump for me to catch up with you guys.

Zach is a cool guy, but he's killed off enough brain cells over the course of his life it wouldn't surprise me if his memory is a little off now and then, LOL.
