Eric,
There were 8 cars in total, all with good people!
Nate,
I am open to anything. I love getting out with these cars. I think Indy would be fun. If not, maybe somewhere in between like Lebanon?

I could do an indy cruise, no problem. Whoever has there foot in the door with the indy crowd needs to figure out when they are all getting together that way we could make the drive on a night with good turnout. Cruise was great tonight, I wish I could have talked to more of you but the girlfriend was getting antzy to go. Everyone had beautiful cars!

I might or might not be down for a cruise to Indy...if there is gonna be a decent turnout of like 25+ cars I'd probably do it...idk maybe I'm just spoiled from a decent fbody scene in Cincinnati but hanging out w/ 8-10 fbodies was like a weekly thing for NKYFBA (norther kentucky fbody association)

Oh, no I didn't see your car, although I would like too. It seems like you have an awesome setup. I was talking about AGray (Austin). He has that gorgeous T/A that he is trying to sell. Sorry you couldn't make it, but I think we are gonna try something else again in the next few weeks or so.

Thanks for the compliments guys, yeah its going to hurt to have to let her go... but I will get another someday for sure... maybe just a cheaper, not as nice of one, that i can actually afford right after i sell this one... we will see what happens tho...

oh btw from what all you saw and everything do you think im asking too much for my car right now? (13.4k) i know nothing is selling right now anyways... i dont think im asking too much, but since all you have seen my car and everything i can get some more opinions... oh i only have 67k miles on her too

I don't think you are asking too much. I think its just the market. Have you tried EBay? I know you can set the reserve, and let it go from there. But its a very nice car, and its obviously been very well maintained throughout its life.

I think your 13.4 is a fair price for the car, but these cars have just dropped soo much in price that its hard to get good money from them. If you want a quick sale, I would expect to go as low as 11-12k, if you wait, I am sure you will eventually get around 13k for it.

I will say you are asking too much....kbb says around 9k for your car so I mean if you can find someone to pay 13k awesome but I wouldn't get your hopes up...especially with the new camaro coming out the price of these cars are going down unless you have a special model like a firehawk, etc... i would think 10k would be more reasonable price to target

I've noticed the kbb prices for these cars are always really low compared to what you see all of the cars selling for on autotrader and stuff. How many miles and stuff are on your car?

Question

Anybody want to get together for another short cruise?
Maybe Thursday or Friday evening?

I'm also thinking of trying to hit up a track on Friday night.
The temperature is looking like it'll cool off a bit. Might be able to turn some nice times. I had my car out saturday night and with just bit of cool air the thing was really running like a bat outta he11.

Anyone interested in either?

hey guys, this is Chris from Friday. I didn't realize there were so many very nice f-bodys on campus. It was great meeting all of you as well. I ran back to Indy Saturday night down 65 around 2 am which provided for a nice cruise, however upon regularly checking fluids before I headed back up I found oil in the coolant. Although its only that and that no coolant is in the oil, the bird was left at home, assuming a blown head gasket, to get some attention and a check up before I have time to work on it when I get back over break in a few weeks.

At this point I am without wheels but still game if we all get together before break and someone has a free seat.

See you all soon, Chris

btw Cvaught, I got that front left turn signal bulb changed after Dog n' Suds, so no more crazy spastic left turn signals XD

Guess you can roll in the IROC until it's fixed.

Nate,

Let me know what you end up doing. If I have nothing going on Friday/Saturday night, I'd like to tag along to a track. I wont be running. I was having some issues with my brakes and had a high-beam out, so my car is also at home.

Basically, what I'm saying is that I would love to come just watch that thing, or if you wanna cruise around in a sweet 4.0L '04 Ranger, just let me know. hahaha

Ed

Oh yeah, Lower90. Come out and play with us. I don't think we could deny a truck that could take *almost* any of us to school.

I would be up for going to the track on friday, although not with my car. The clutch is slipping soo bad that I would be lucky to run a 14. If you have a couple extra seats I would ride along with you and help pay for gas. If not, I could make the trip in the trans am and follow you guys to the track. If you have a camera or something, I would be more tha willing to get some footage of you running it at the track. Let me know
