^^Actually that's what I originally went in for.. got classed into Fire Dept. after about 16 weeks of Training. That School is challenging, but there are other factors too. Eglin is a nice Base, lots of Clubs. You have to make it through the Course at Lackland first, and lots of people don't cause they don't put in the effort.

If I dont cut it I wouldn't mind getting classed in the Fire Dept.. When I am in school will I have enough freedom to go to all the bars and clubs and stuff? That girls and booze are a few of the things that messed me up in college but I hope that im a little more mature now. I think that if I stay focused I should be able to make it through but only time will tell.

Thanks, I really believe that I will make it as long as I put forth the effort. But if i do end up washing out I will try to go TACP which was my 2nd choice anyways. As long as I get one or the other ill be happy.

I graduated BMT in Oct. 2001..
I got there Sep. 5, 2001, 6 days later we went into Delta, and it was an interesting week.
I was the first one to get actual pictures of what happened, my Mom printed them off of CNN.com as it was happening live, and sent them out that afternoon. I got them 3 days later.
I still have that piece of mail, that is something that you will never forget.
