Did you happen to have an Academics Instructor named TSgt Tate? I hate that guy, he's such a dick!

Very if you're not expecting it. Lot of people go there and have no idea what it's going to be like. I imagine the yelling and what not is equal across all services BMT's, but Marines and Army definitely have it harder physically.

While physically the easiest, it still has just as much mental stress as yours. The yelling and the treatment is the same in every branch.

What were you training squadron were you in?
My TI when I was in basic was a former Mairne of 12 years. All we did was play his games which was a lot of pushing. Mental stress is the same, everyone does same basic stuff AF doesnt spend as much time in certain areas and runs through things a little quicker

Outside of your crucible, its just as much of a stress I can trust you on that. More than enough friends in the Corps to know its the same.

Are you talking about the AMMO career field op? Congrats on graduation and i am in AMMO its cool but i can think of alot of others that id rather be in lol. This is not the one i wanted but its what they had and i wanted to be done with the DEP program and get in already.

Been in almost 2 years so i am still a newb but its cool.

I was in the 331 Trg. Flight 223 and my TI was a blue rope, Ssgt. Pheabus (i think thats how you spell his name).

I graduated BMT in Oct. 2001..

I got there Sep. 5, 2001, 6 days later we went into Delta, and it was an interesting week.

I was the first one to get actual pictures of what happened, my Mom printed them off of CNN.com as it was happening live, and sent them out that afternoon. I got them 3 days later.
I still have that piece of mail, that is something that you will never forget.

what do you mean how is it inhuman...not being able to make your own descisions..being able to relax..multiple things make bmt inhuman..grantid its only 6 1/2 weeks which isnt horrible but its nice to be able to have freedom again..and that being yelled at is all over with

Congrats on graduating, hopefully you learned something from bmt. Don't turn into a shitbag like the airmen i've been seeing lately.

Did you atleast have any fun there? There were parts of mine that was fun. Rifle range, obstacle courses, and watching other people get yelled at is always funny.
