Good job on being ahead of the curve for PT at least. Control your breathing and you'll control your run time. Don't get too excited though, E3 is still going to take a year, and E4 is still going to take at least a year and a half.

Congrats man. This is a rant from an older guy: I went through basic and stayed an E-1 the whole time, normal for the time period. All this automatic crap kills me. Hell SSG is automatic in some cases. What happened to the good ole days when you had to earn that ****. Sorry for the rant.

#1 Fort Leonard Wood (Fort lost in the woods) BLOWS ***
I went there for basic and AIT in 06
#2 Congrats on the promotion but them PT scores aren't impressive keep pushing
#3 If you go to a decent unit you'll make E4 within 18 months of time in service with a waiver
#4 Basic Training was a joke when in 06 and now it's three years later i can only imagine, take it as seriosuly as possible and strive to succeed
#5 Don't listen to people about what you can and can't not do/act/say/or wear while in Basic training it's up to your drill sergeants, what they say goes you'll find out when you get there
#6 Thanks for fighting for our country and hope your one of the proud ones to be in the armed services, too many shitbags in here that are wasting our countries time and money let alone being ashamed to call them a fellow soldier.
