Default Looking for Military charities

I am not in the military, but a strong supporter. My dad served in Vietnam. I need help finding military-specific charity organizations to get my company involved with. Please post any that you know of, especially ones that you have been positively affected by.
Thanks.
Brian

Cool, thanks for the link. Also, if you can suggest specific volunteer projects that anyone can do through one of these organizations that would be a great help.
Thanks.

Overall would be best, but branch specific is fine too. I know there are a bunch of organizations, but I'm having a very difficult time finding a SPECIFIC TASK a group of volunteers can perform, not just sending money. Any specific info would be appreciated.

im in the marine corp and i know for sure the navy marine corps relief society is a good deal they helped me out when my grandma died, and i also know the wounded warrior foundation is kinda shifty, they have screwed over a couple of my friends, just my .02 cents, take it for what its worth.

Navy marine corps relief society, 5 dollars a paycheck goes to them, good charity to be involved with an it helps marines and sailors a lot. Don't know of many others, a lot of them don't give 100% to the cause. Just research before you choose, and thanks for your support we all appreciate it.

Fisher House and Soldier's Angels are great groups. I know of both supporting guys in my unit and they have nothing but good things to say about them.

www.CampPatriot.org Micah Clark who runs it is a saint in all aspects. If you want his number and want more info please feel free to PM me. I can DEFINATELY vouch for him. He is a former Corpsman and served with Marine Recon plus multiple others. Just basically a BAMF!
