Enlisted into the Marines as of yesterday and couldn't feel any better about my decision. Hopefully i will be able to get into my 1st mos choice of Combat Support. My grandfather was in the Marines as infantry.

God Bless and Semper Fidelis

San Diego, yea man everyone who now enlists gets pushed a whole year until they leave for boot camp it sucks, but my recruiter had a guy who was supposed to leave in February actually end up leaving a couple weeks ago so hopefully ill be able to leave after August or something. I just need to study my General Orders more

yes. There is probably about 100 things you need to know. You will have plenty of time to learn that stuff in bootcamp.

My advice stay quiet do what you're told, Be loud when they talk to you, and dont volunteer for anything.

get 2 people to join and make sure your recruiter puts you as a referal. Its also pretty easy to get promoted while you are in bootcamp. Be the leader in Bootcamp tell people to stfu. Thats the hard way and imo not worth it. lol, You will be the one the DI punishes when **** goes down. also that will not make you any friends.
