Anyone else deployed? Was just wondering if any other techies were deployed... And if y'all are having dreams about driving every other night and spending all day trying to plan exactly how every paycheck is going towards your car...

This **** is brutal... Almost every night I have some wierd-*** car dream. Couple days ago I was drifting a Mustang around downtown Nashville... Last night I had bought a brand new Civic and swapped an LS1 into it... WIERD ****. Had one about wrecking my car running from dinosaurs a few days ago, too... I might quit smoking if this **** keeps up

I was supposed to be deployed, but the budget situation got us bumped back. Honestly, I wish we had gone but SECNAV and POTUS decided to only have a one carrier presence...

The wife, immediate family, and the car are some of the few things that kept me sane on deployment. Something about that first drive when you get back in your ride after being away makes everything so relaxing.

I've been in Japan for over 2 years now, and I am deploying to Kuwait soon. Won't be seeing my Bird for another 10 months until I separate! Then I am taking some time off and finishing the bird before I start college! Prob either pick up a C5 or 04-06 GTO to DD while in College.
I miss the **** out of my cars... I only get to drive my Formy like 30 days a year, and I am usually installing a bunch of parts half the time. lol
